At some point y'all that pay for this stuff have to hold some feet to the fire. They spent all day high fiving each other and playing grab *** to have it pulled out from under them.

So either someone on the staff is feeding them overly optimistic stuff on way too many recruits, or they're overstating their case in an embarrassing fashion.

Most of the paid info can be found for free if you look hard enough

In the end, you can measure everything but a guy’s heart.

He looked at the Big Time and it was too much for him. He’d rather chuck up threes against Weber State and New Mexico than grind out the conditioning program Kenny Payne would have put him on and face the challenge of Kentucky.

He had all the surface tangibles but not the intangibles, so everyone is better off with him going small.

Might be a lot of misdirection going on. If he does not come to UK then Cal will get someone. He always has a plan.

Having a plan and that plan working are 2 totally different things as Haarms spurning is for BYU shows. And it does us no good if the player we do get is a guy that can’t handle starting at Center for UK

Kid seems like a huge sissy. If he doesn't want the big stage why would we want a player like that. Might be a good thing he's not coming.

Only a couple of posters actually said they had inside info linking Haarms to UK. We all know who they are. Everyone else was just repeating what they heard.
That’s how it always work, one piggybacks off the other. UK will be fine and the staff will move on to another prospect, I just hope it’s one with some experience.

Wait, is it JUST Evans that's reporting this. Not that I'm discrediting him.. But it IS just one guy.

Regardless of how this latest UK basketball recruiting saga works out, it is almost the last of April and we still have a need for one or even two front court guys and are basically scrambling to find someone or anyone. That is an undisputed fact--ideally, you would want to have your 2020-2021 roster set by now. It is not set. That is a little more than concerning when you're in that kind of desperation mode at this late date looking for the best available warm body despite having a gaping hole in your roster.

If true what I previously read, that Haarms is not seeking a high profile limelight, then, as we all know, UK is not a fit for him. However, our chances remain good if he is committed on winning a championship and also maximizing chances of getting to the NBA. I am also convinced that the so-called experts manning these positions in the cottage industry of recruiting prognosticators do not generally know any more than you or me. Our guess is as good as theirs.
