I It showed during a time out, Pitino kept saying "Don't foul, don't foul". Of course they fouled. His point was that sometimes we don't hear the negative in a statement and that you are better off saying exactly what you want someone to do. The MKG denial and recover is another example.

This comes into play big time in golf, and is taught by pros and sports psychologists alike.

Basically:

-OB left: Thinking "Don't go left. Don't go left" - Big No

-OB left: Thinking "Play this one down the right side" - Yes

What's the word on backyard mosquito control? Joey, got a podcast? Are the propane versions worth it? Looks like mixed reviews.

Actively recruiting more.

Buddy that co-owns Trademark and Luxe stone was at my neighbors house (his partner) Saturday. Trying to get him to sell and build on the open lot 3 spots down.

He's in Parkridge now. #southend

Don't have a ton of insight on this topic, but whatever $300 contraption my wife purchased off Amazon last spring is not effective.

Good question Anth, I have access to a thermal fogger (just like the Chinese were using on hoverboards) but I am sure the true mosquito fog requires a license.

We’ve done mosquito authority and mosquito joe-both were effective, just pricey. Like almost $600 for the season.

We used them one season but the issues is our neighbors don't and both have a lot of foliage. Was told those little belt attached propane deals work really well.

It's basically unusable around dusk most of the summer.

I’ve seen Chase, Graham, and assistbyhawkins play golf before. When one duck hooks one two fairways over, the other enthusiastically cheers “ GET LEFT,” followed by a subtle “good lie, great angle.”

Power of the mind, indeed.

I mean I get annoyed as anyone when I see THE TEENS gathering at the park but physically assaulting them seems counterproductive and a good way to get your *** thrown in jail, which is a place not conducive to social distancing.

Also adults shouldn’t assault kids.

Looks like he was charged with strangulation. That’s 5-10 years, dummy.
Some people are really taking this hoax thing seriously, maybe time to call it off.

It's already bad but it is going to be the wild effin west when this transfer rule goes in.

Believe or not, I have never been a fan of the "no transfer without sitting out a year' rule. I'd even make it unlimited transfers while you have your eligibility. However, I do think there should be some sort of incentive for sticking around. Perhaps tie it back to the paying college players thing where you lose a portion of your stipend if you transfer.

There should actually be some kind of stickiness involved, because I think a lot of time the grass isn't greener and these kids are making a bad decision when they transfer. Plus there is added cost on the universities when they lose their players.

All in, it won't add up to much, but perhaps some very minor pain will reduce some of the whimsical decisions made by 19-year old's.

All these parents teaching their kids to mow during lockdown I’m like wtf mowing is an easy way to get outside and by yourself and still look like you’re doing something idiots

I mow so I can listen to a podcast and drink beer without my family interrupting. It will be a cold day in hell before the Chinese take that pleasure from me.

I'm convinced that my dad bought 5 acres and a bush-hog just to get some peace when we were growing up.

So Cal told Dick Vitale on the record that all 5 guys are going to the draft when only two have actually made that announcement? Might need to fire up the old smell test on that tweet.

Edit: they will all probably go, but still ...
