Was watching a clip of those final minutes the other day -- UVA had so many miracles in that run it's seriously unbelievable.

I know. It's like they signed a deal with the devil.

Devil: Hey Coach Bennett, I will grant you a national championship but first you must be the first 1 seed to lose to a 16 seed.

Coach Bennett: Hells yeah!

^ that’s sure what it felt like in their E8 and beyond.

They must have been thinking “let’s win this game” instead of “let’s lose this game,” for sure.

Eh. More like a fluke miracle. We’ve had lots of E8 heartbreak under Cal, but none in this fashion.

...and that was the first of many.

The calm look & one handed zip from Clark was incredible btw. 98/100 times that’s a panicked halfcourt heave TS. I mean, what a play.

Yes I want a big 7'3 Ivan Drago at Center instead of 6'9 Isaiah Jackson playing out of position or hoping for maybe EJ Montgomery playing out of position and being surly about it.

GD it- it’s NOT 2000 anymore. Center is Jackson’s position.

We’re gonna suck next year

Or we will be frustrating but with some decent young talent, appear to put it together toward the end of the season, and then flame out to a team with either legit experience or talent in the tournament. Same as every year since Calipari lost his fastball.

Assuming we all aren't dead.

So Cal told Dick Vitale on the record that all 5 guys are going to the draft when only two have actually made that announcement? Might need to fire up the old smell test on that tweet.

Edit: they will all probably go, but still ...

That tweet 100% passes the smell test.

But I mean, Cal always talks up his guys going to the Draft, so as to help prop up their value and instill the idea that they all belong in the Draft.

Yes, all of them may well go, but I don't think an April 6 tweet by Dickie V is the death knell. Cal already said 5 will test the process; DV needs attention; so wtf cares - his tweet is meaningless.

There's still a ton of uncertainty, even more so than usual.

I can’t decide whether the uncertainty helps or hurts tbh.

Obviously guys that need workouts/combine can’t, but on the other side **** is so wack the thought of getting out and at least making money is probably attractive AF right now.

Of course, I do.

Wasn’t saying Jackson should be our starting center. In fact, I don’t.
So you want Haarms and you don't want Jackson starting at center. Which was the ENTIRETY of my post. But you still somehow disagreed with it. You might be pissy for no reason, Chad.

I know how the game has evolved, hell I mentioned it on here like two days ago.

This kid is 6'9 200. He's a forward. Everyone in basketball describes him as a forward.

Power forward. Power forward

Power forward. Power forward

Interview where his coach describes him as a small forward, which is a little much, but still.

Seems obvious Cal told him all 5 would enter the NBA draft process/declare, not literally the draft. He had already said this, plus he would not spoil their moment. UK controls all aspects of the PR side of players entering the draft.

Get Haarms and Quickley back and we're in business.

You pretty much described every Cal year except 10, 12, 15, and 17.

Seriously Dr X?

Ricky Bubbly Spa and Wellness Center.

I was laughing as much as I was SMH.

Thanks for a little bit of complete nerd silliness to brighten my day.

The smugness of Joel at the Vegas airport at 6:00am after an 0-2 trip still irks me

Touch him. When I see his Joe Cool act on the sideline I literally want to reach through the television and strangle him. He’s in over his head being an assistant coach at the University of Kentucky. This is no place to cut your teeth in the coaching ranks. Go back to coaching Woodberry Forest, dipshit.

Any of you law balls slow on time? I need a better grip on the Ky House bill 415.

So I’ll make you a deal, if you can get decently versed on it, and then let me pick your brain for about an hour, not only would I buy your time now I will commit any future defense I may need once I break this law from lack of understanding.

Also, I will not blame you for MY lack of understanding.

So has anyone given a viable reason why it's OK for everyone to go to the grocery store? Obviously, everyone needs supplies, but shouldn't the focus be on making it possible to distribute those supplies to people without having them go to the store, or at least limiting the number of people in the store significantly?
