Interesting reading Cal's tweets about the 2012 game.

Plenty of insight into his Slow it down and grind it out! thinking. Funny he mentioned even Joe B was asking him about that after the game.

Also enjoyed the bit about the MKG block. Having done exactly what Cal told him not to do (don't deny), you can see why he had a little extra juice in recovering to make that block.

Apparently Sweden said screw it and rolled the dice with herd immunity. They didn’t shut down a thing and are promoting social distancing whenever possible. They think at some point there is a critical mass with this virus, and they’re willing to let it happen naturally.

Just goes to show you Cal can literally tell a player as good as MKG exactly what the other team will do and sometimes 30 seconds later the player still messes it up.

I'm fine with grinding out the last few minutes of a game and Cal went to it way too early in that game but as good as Teague was in the first half he was that bad in the second half (other than that 3) and Kansas was way better at getting back on D.

If you type "Sweden Coronavirus" in google, you see right wing articles popping up about how they did it the right way, and left wing publications say they are screwing up.

I mean I get annoyed as anyone when I see THE TEENS gathering at the park but physically assaulting them seems counterproductive and a good way to get your *** thrown in jail, which is a place not conducive to social distancing.

Also adults shouldn’t assault kids.


Looks like he was charged with strangulation. That’s 5-10 years, dummy.

I had a college professor that was talking about subliminal communication blah blah. He used a clip from the Memphis-UL CUSA championship game where Darius Washington choked on the FT line. It showed during a time out, Pitino kept saying "Don't foul, don't foul". Of course they fouled. His point was that sometimes we don't hear the negative in a statement and that you are better off saying exactly what you want someone to do. The MKG denial and recover is another example.

Re successful people, they're not afraid to try, specifically entrepreneurs. They can come up with a million bad ideas but if one of them hits we all think they're a genius.

Sweden has a population density of 64 people per square mile.

New York City has a population density of 66,940 per square mile.

I’m curious how it works for Sweden, but I think if you did that in densely populated areas you’d have a metric **** ton of dead people.

Stockholm has a population density of 13,000 per square mile.
