I agree, but one with his fadeaway would looked better.A big no from me. Knee jerk reaction.

This is unprecedented in modern sports, a player as great and as influential as this dying unexpectedly so soon after retiring, while he was still a giant figure in the sport. There's almost no analogy other than if Brady retired and we lost him in a couple of years. I don't even think Jeter is comparable. This wasn’t even a discussion just 2 days ago. Literally no one cared. Was Kobe great? Yes. Was his death absolutely tragic and heart wrenching? Yes. Is this a knee jerk reaction? Yes. Same way the Mavericks retired the #24 even though Kobe literally played for the lakers exclusively. Unless he and mark cuban have business dealings and are extremely close, I just don’t get it.
Why?I'd rather they just retire 24 across the league
Knee jerk also.1000%. It’s funny seeing all these people on here saying no, when I’ve seen about 15 NBA players say they want this to happen.
Then what happens after the next tragedy?1000%. It’s funny seeing all these people on here saying no, when I’ve seen about 15 NBA players say they want this to happen.
Or when Jordan diesThen what happens after the next tragedy?
We are talking about the most devastating loss in the history of the NBAOr when Jordan dies
Why are you shaking your head? What happens after the next tragedy? Do you make them the new logo, do you rename the NBA after them, what happens?
Again we are talking about the most devastating loss in the history of the league. Again I ask, why not?Why areyou shaking your head? What happens after the next tragedy? Do you make them the new logo, do you rename the NBA after them, what happens?
24 will Definitely be retired league wide. Mavericks already did itThese are emotional reactions. Yes he was an all time great. Its tragic how he died. But changing the logo and retiring 24 is a emotional reaction.
So if MJ dies tomorrow in a car wreck do you say this about him?Again we are talking about the most devastating loss in the history of the league. Again I ask, why not?
Why not 8?24 will Definitely be retired league wide. Mavericks already did it
People die everyday. We’ve all had to deal with it and willWe are talking about the most devastating loss in the history of the NBA
Because not everyone gives Kobe Bryant's life more meaning than every other NBA life. All lives are precious and meaninful. This is a knee jerk reaction.Again we are talking about the most devastating loss in the history of the league. Again I ask, why not?
Jordan has had nearly 2 decades of retirement, his children are adults. It would be awful but this is different. If MJ died in 2005 then 23 would be retired Leage wide.So if MJ dies tomorrow in a car wreck do you say this about him?
