Your act is pretty tiring. Do you take medication for some sort of bipolar disorder? It’s either that, or you’re on here hammered half the time. Speaking of which, it’s midnight, and here you are again. You scream “I’m weird.” I’ve been posting on here for 18 years. If I were a troll, I would have been brought to justice years ago. At this point, I’m done trying to converse with you. It’s pointless. You can’t talk sports with someone who is constantly laying in the fetal position.
I can only guess as to who you are replying to. Wcc? Kl45...?

The point is that your complaining about Cal is being seen even on other boards and they can even see how crazy you are. Even IU fans know how lucky we are to have Cal as coach. You are so fixated on Cal that you can't see the Forrest for the trees.

You go to IU board? Why? Why in the heck do I care about what IU fans think?

Expecting excellent results from excellent compensation is not out of the ordinary. Making excuses for the unexcusable is sycophantic.

the UL win doesn’t take the nightmare of Evansville away. Only a final four does that

Cal still needs to change his offense...... still needs an assistant that can get guards and wings to shoot more consistently good..... a win over UL doesn’t change this

The change I would like to see is you getting banned. I am sorry it hurt your agenda that UK beat Louisville. You can now retreat to your mommy's basement and cry.

Keep drinking the kool aid. I’m a realist.

I think it's safe to say that most of the people who are NOT sunshine pumpers do NOT want Cal gone. They want Cal to change his OAD philosophy, a new approach to coaching, fire Barbee, get Coach O back, and get Tyler Ulis as a PG coach. Cal needs to take some kind of walkabout to get his mind together.

The reason why Cal is not doing well, is simply, he's burnt out on his own OAD philosophy. He has to change. We all want Cal here. We just want him to coach like he did his first 6 years.
You Coach O guys are funny. You know how he has recruited at South Fla and Illinois. Uk made him look good and UK still has top 1 or 2 classes

Why are people still posting crap polls like this?

Are we tired of them?

Yes X
No

There are no better coaches available than Cal. Stop asking. Stop feeding the crazy. It doesn't help

(Does anyone realize that 63 people could just be UL fans that are tired of losing to him? They've been trolling UK message boards since the mid 90s...)

Again...

No, I don't want him to go. But I would like some accountability from him when it comes to these terrible losses. I would like for him to make some adjustments to his style of coaching. I would like some better player development especially out of our bigs. And instead of just acting like a bunch of cheerleaders, I would like for our local media to finally ask Cal why these changes or adjustments aren't being made.

Is that too much to ask?

No. That would be a complete overreaction.

Some adjustments do need to be made, in my view. Cal is a smart guy. I think he will figure it out.

The majority of UK fans do not want Cal gone.
They think it's crazy and they are right.

But I'm unsure why people would think all 63 people that voted otherwise are just other team's fans.

There's a subset of our own fanbase that truly wants him gone. Some posted in this thread even. I'm not sure why it's so hard to believe. It's crazy. It's irrational. But some do want him gone.

I don't want him gone, but it's obvious that we haven't been as successful since Antigua left after the 2015 season. I think he needs to shake up the staff with new assistants, one that is similar to an offense coordinator and a recruiter with better connections/evaluator of talent. I know the quality of play is down across the sport but we can be more proactive about bringing in talented players not just pure athletes. He is paid way too much to have the results of the last few seasons.

The trolls are out on this Poll on Coach Cal. It has to be UL, IU, Duke, UNC, and the rest of the rivals that want him gone. You look at Coach Cal's recruiting ove10 years and his Elite 8 wins and the times in the Final Four and no one should want him to leave Lexington. In the last 3 years we should have been headed to the FInal Four losing to UNC on buzzer beater by Luke Mayes, then last 2 by Kansas State and Auburn. The last 2 season seasons was poor Free Throw shooting and Turnovers vs. KSU and Auburn. Coach Cal can't go out and shoot Free Throws and make the good passes, and knock down the 3s. We can't always blame these big losses on Coach Cal.

200% this

Great coaches adapt to the game not vice versa. Do I want him gone? Of course not but I want a filled out roster with a combination of players that can grow as a team. Maybe you plug in a one and done each year, maybe 2 or 3 but we need to rethink how we build our teams. How do we do that you ask? We pay a man 10 million now to know how.

So here is the poll...
Before the season I posted something like this (not a poll, just a general question). not one poster said they wanted him gone.
Everyone that posted in response said that nobody wants him gone, it’s just criticism.
11 games into season a thread is started saying he should move on and that post has about 30 likes.
So, what gives?
Finally a poster has the balls to say it, and suddenly there are many who want him gone.
plpease bring 10 loss tubby back so the program can return to mediocrity.

He needs to be gone NOW

On a recruiting trip to get a 5 for next year that can play from day 1

Watching A&M. They gave a big guy that looks great. I’m tired of Cal only looking aT 5 star bigs and missing on them. There are plenty of big guys who can play who aren’t OADs. It’s just totally stupid and stubborn on his part.

Not all 63 of them. At least half are just dudes who are angry that the world didn't stop after 1995.

Staunch capitalists, yet they somehow thought that highly skilled grown *** 22 year old men, among the best in the world in their field, should keep playing for their entertainment, not at their market value, but instead for the price of a scholarship to a state school.

So now if UK is getting 5 stars, they don't stay for long, because the free market always finds away.

And it makes them want to take their anger out on a top 2 coach who only recruits good kids, keeps us on the right side of the rules, reaches out to fans and former players as well as any guy we've had, and still manages to exceed every historical winning statistic.

Yeah, those guys who want him gone are so cool and advanced.

Uhh you're comparing UK to USF basketball lol. Recruiting changes. Coach O had more resources, the UK tradition and weight with him along with Cal. You know Coach O got our top 5 talent right? Like, do you even think about what you're saying before you speak? Think about what you said. Think through it for a second before you post. Can't take you seriously.

Time to revive this poll? Would be interesting to see if it has changed at all.

No. It isn't. Should you be judged by the last dump you took?

Or should it be the rest of what you do and have done- the entire body of work outside of just your worst moments?

If the poll isn't revived, then the poll doesn't include Calipari's "entire body of work" -- which now includes yet another embarrassing loss to a previously unranked team.

No...think Cal knows what he’s doing and always has known. Hall of fame, experienced coach, fantastic recruiter. If he did retire, I can’t name one coach I would want at Kentucky. I can’t name one that is truly appealing.

It makes more sense to poll at the end of a full season, in say April. After all, we all know it’s the postseason performance that matters most here (we don’t put him banners for undefeated regular seasons).

Cal is one of the best. I don’t agree with him with his recruiting philosophy. I think a mix of one-and-dones and four-year players would be a winning combo...you can win big today with that combo...see Gonzaga, Villanova...

Absolutely not, but I do want him to modernize our offense. It’s been terrible for a few years. I would also like to see us play much more up Tempo on both offense and defense. How? We need to press. We’re long and athletic and deep this year. It should be a team suited to press. Since we always suck at half court offense, pressing is a way to get some easy baskets and to wear teams down. Yes, you’ll give up some easy baskets, but I think we’d see more positives than negatives.
