Well my time machine is broken so I cannot go back in time and buy a ticket to attend the game to see for myself. Hence why I asked if anyone attending the game can attest to it. I assumed that was clear but I guess not.

As far as how to respond to it I suppose you prefer to just stick your head in the sand and pretend it didn't happen. Good approach. Sans Duke, blue blood status doesn't really exist as it comes to attracting players/coaches these days. If I'm a player/coach, I want to play for a passionate fanbase, but not an aggressively delusional one that is ready to throw haymakers over an exhibition loss.

I was at the game and did not hear a single booing fan the entire game. I saw some head shaking when we made bad TO's but never heard a boo. Multiple other fans on X who were at the game also claimed they did not hear a single fan booing at the game. The guy who made the assertion saw one fan who booed IIRC. One dude does not represent the entire fanbase.

Too many of us have a bad case of main character syndrome and think we matter way more than we do. We are the best fans in the nation but it’s conditional - must win all the time. When that condition isn’t met, we are the worst, meanest and most vile fanbase in the country because we take this stuff personally and will happily eat our own.
