I don't think there's ever been someone like him. He's one of the most athletic basketball players I've ever seen at his size. Outside of LeBron, I can't think of too many guys at 6'7 and 250 pounds who can outjump and outfly guys who are also elite, just not on his level. He's not learned to shoot the ball consistently, because he's never had to. No one can stop him. He also gives it 120% out there ala MKG. I'd say maybe Charles Barkley is the closest? But Zion seems to be in a unique mold of his own being able to bite the rim while also being able to power through a triple team for a rebound or tough finish.

He reminds me of that mysterious South American PG recruit we had about 10 years ago. Both internet legends!!!

If you don't like a Larry Johnson comparison then I'll throw out a quicker and more athletic Anthony Mason.

His handle seems better than solid to me. I don't see why people don't project him to a 3. The stroke doesn't seem broken or anything and he seems quick enough on both ends, he just needs to face more effective defense consistently to force him to diversify more. He just gets to the basket too easily to be messing around doing much else.

He's my favorite player in the class. No one can guard him. He will be the best three Cal has ever had. I love the fact he doesn't jack up threes all day long. Take that thing to the rack and leave a trail of defenders with night terrors. Fearless, doesn't Disappear when his team needs him. Give us Reddish on the perimeter and this team will destroy people.
