Fairly decent, are you being sarcastic? Issel's career stats in the NBA were 20.4 ppg, 31.1 mpg, and close to 8 rebounds per game. That was with the Nuggets form 76-85. Not very many that played in the league ever achieved those kind of stats for so long.
Yes, I was being sarcastic. I’m perfectly aware he’s a Hall of Famer. I said that because the criteria for the thread was that your favorite player was not supposed to be a good pro.

Who was your favorite former Wildcat? Here's the twist, you can't include guys who went on to be great or even good pros.

There is a thread about Monk on here that kind of inspired me to create this thread. Some people tend to forget that you can be a fantastic college player and NOT go on to be a pro.

Some of my favorites?
Tyler Ulis
Patrick Sparks
Jeff Shepherd
Malik Monk

Just curious what some of you guys and gals think. Thought it might be a fun thread.

I’m gonna go pre Cal era bc there are so many in the cal era lol...

I was obsessed with Tony Delk

Epps

Wayne Turner (98 Duke game!)

Padgett (98 Duke game!)
loved me some Jeff Shepherd

Patrick Sparks

Mercer and Anderson

This thread turned out pretty awesome! Lots of names that aren't necessarily forgotten, just put on the back burner. I've also gotten a decent chuckle from the ones who didn't follow the rules.

Btw, isn't is great being a Cats fan? No one else has a family this big. Oh, and just in case anybody was wondering, Madness is upon us!

For me, easily the unsung hero of the 2012 title team. Kid had ice water in his veins. Could shoot lights out but also drive and score in the craftiest of ways.

I think everyone with a heart and brain loved Chuck Hayes. But he did have a pretty decent, serviceable NBA career, though not spectacular. Probably the best 6'4-6'5 center in the modern era. :)

I don’t think I’d considered 3 ppg & 5 rpg a pretty decent career. He def played a long time in the league and made some good money and was prolly a great teammate but I’d say Hayes fits under OP’s guidelines.

...I'll allow it.

Stock answer to this question is DA + MKG. I think I now have to add Fox to that list.

But given the way it's framed this time.....don't understand how Ulis isn't the runaway winner......

I liked Kyle Macy back in his playing days but now it's Cuz and Wall second. Good people. I will never forget that interview with Boogie playing with Wall's ear....

That's what I was hoping. In reality, I did not even know that he was that productive in his latter years so you caused me to look it up, lol.
