Who was your favorite former Wildcat? Here's the twist, you can't include guys who went on to be great or even good pros.

There is a thread about Monk on here that kind of inspired me to create this thread. Some people tend to forget that you can be a fantastic college player and NOT go on to be a pro.

Some of my favorites?
Tyler Ulis
Patrick Sparks
Jeff Shepherd
Malik Monk

Just curious what some of you guys and gals think. Thought it might be a fun thread.

I would say Bogans was definitely a good pro...Azubuike too, just for a lesser period.

I loved that 2002-03 team as that was my senior year at UK....that said I'll stick with my childhood favs that didn't really sniff NBA very much if at all.

Ford
Dale Brown
Rod Rhodes
Andre Riddick (Geert Hammink game legendary)
Anthony Epps
Jeff Brassow
Shep
Padgett
Mills

Probably a bunch I am missing but that is off the top of my head.

Dearron Fox, Cliff Hawkins and Tyler Ulis. So much fun to watch each of them play.

Edited to make fun of myself for not reading the rules. Derp.

Patrick Sparks, Kelenna, Patterson, Knight, Briscoe (not joking), Ulis.

Id also include guys like Fox, Wall, Bledsoe if i could. Wall revamped the UK hype and I got to play pick up against him a few different times during my time at UK. Have some good stories from those days. Got to play with a few other current pros from that team and subsequent years. Good guy(s).

Went to the Fox player signing as well and he was incredibly cool with everyone, i know he gave that constant persona behind the camera and stuff but he was super friendly to everyone in person. Gained more respect from me after that too. If only he wasnt on the kings.

This is tougher than I thought. I would have to say Cliff Hawkins, Gerald Fitch, & Patrick Sparks in some order. Honorable mention to Ramel Bradley.

Cliff Hagan, probably one of the most arrogant guys I ever met but he allowed me to play basketball in the Coliseum everyday at lunch with his group.

Fairly decent, are you being sarcastic? Issel's career stats in the NBA were 20.4 ppg, 31.1 mpg, and close to 8 rebounds per game. That was with the Nuggets form 76-85. Not very many that played in the league ever achieved those kind of stats for so long.
