Tshiebwe and Hopkins would give UK 2 big strong athletic players in the frontcourt next season. Sure hope we can get him.

Oscar can dominate games at times. But I have also saw him pout and be lazy on D when things aren't going good for him.

If there aren't attitude & work issues, I think Tshiebwe would be a great piece for next year playing about 20 minutes or so a game. Nice contrast with Collins and even Ware to a lesser extent.

Cal is recruiting him to be an immediate starter and impact player, he gets 25-30 minutes per game.

Maybe... but I'm not sure how we know what "Cal is recruiting him to be." If this is what Calipari stated somewhere, fine. But, I suspect Calipari hasn't made that kind of specific determination yet. While I really like the bruising game Tshiebwe brings, I personally think it's often most effective and efficient in somewhat smaller doses. Plus, I think Ware at the 5 will be seen a lot too.

Who knows what the true intent, but this kid is levels above our current post players outside of Saar, he's coming for major PT, IMO.

Oscar said he almost ended up in Lex and that we were a very close 2nd to WVU who he had ties to early. We had the last Zoom call last night and he decides tomorrow. He has already visited UK and supposedly his visit went really well. He seems to have a good relationship with Cal and I just don't see what Miami offers him to pass on UK twice. He has to be feeling like he made a bad decision already since he left and I doubt he wants anything but as close of a sure thing as possible and that ain't Miami. On the Radioshow, the word is we are the favorite by more than 1 source.
