I’ll give him credit for the rise of Goldberg, the rise of Crow Sting (but also blame for the fall of it), building a strong midcard, interesting factions such as the Flock, outstanding production value, etc. He also largely helped destroy what he built.

I also give him credit for giving the lucha’s proper time and gave them more exposure - guys like Eddie/laparka/rey/psychosis he gave them at least 30 mins on nitro a week
The Knight thing didn't say he'll get a push. It says he'll have a much better year than last year and will be positioned as one of the top babyfaces. The year is nearly half over and none of that is remotely true.
I don't need him to speak. Put him in the ring and he's more entertaining than 95% of the wrestlers on earth.
That's fine, we're just saying that he's otherwise boring. There's no personality there. Pro wrestling is also a show with bright lights and fireworks and all that. The most successful wrestlers aren't dull as a mud puddle.
Triple H's career says otherwise. Great Khali and Jinder Mahal won the WWE title or whatever it was called when they won it. Damian Priest won the heavyweight championship. Sheamus a 3x undisputed champion.
Triple H's feuds with Austin, Rock, Foley, Orton, Batista, etc. weren't boring. Him aligning with Stephanie wasn't boring. It got to that point eventually just like it did with Cena but he had an unbelievable career and you can't pretend otherwise. Not sure why you're bringing up Khali or Jinder lol. We started with Claudio, who even his fans admit isn't exactly exciting, and now you're just bringing up randos who Vince gave a shot to when SD was terrible.

You joke but once he uncursed UK, we did get Milan and the five-star Hampton. The gimmick dries out if he curses every decent team and uncurses every struggling team but Pope was pretty much dead in the water before the UK/Danhausen partnership.

Problem is that every time anyone suggests anything AEW should do it always ends up amounting to “be more like WWE.” Alvarez is particularly bad about that.
I think as a fellow AEW fan, we should expect that. WWE is a massive company. There are things that cause that type of success. I like AEW programming and I disagree with many of the suggestions to “improve things.” But I also understand why those suggestions happen. Good matches have never sold tickets and views. Pyro, big entrances, larger than life personalities and iconic promos and rivalries do that.
