We should have run over the pick or over if they other guys should have tripped they're man. Any foul better than an open three.
In retrospect.
But with 20 plus seconds left you expect to get your turn to answer so not quite so clear as i first made it out to be.
Geo has a reputation as a last minute have winning shooter. He could well have received a foul call that others wouldn't if he drives jump stops and shoots.
Yeboah took a good line to the shooter along an open path on the floor, passing the Harrar pick on his left. Harrar then stepped into him as he was closing out, preventing him from getting there in time. Had PSU not committed a violation, Yeboah would have been right on top of Dread as he made the shot - so I can't fault Yeboah for the decision in the moment. Had Yeboah tried to go around the other side of Harrar, it's almost certain that he would just committed a violation in that direction, too - it is obvious that Harrar's intent was to not allow Yeboah to get a clear path to the shooter.
We did have a final possession with no time outs, which we squandered - so it's not like it was a game-ending shot. But expecting Geo to get a foul call if he drives doesn't align with the way the half had been called - we'd gotten just one FT attempt the entire second half, on just 4 called fouls. If they didn't call Harrar for an obvious clear out in the waning seconds, they wouldn't be likely to call PSU on a shooting foul the other way either.
