Ok we get it, we are not playing well. Did you ever think that Coach Flood is equally responsible for the mess on the field? Did you ever think that we're only paying Chris Ash 1.5 million!!! If people are unhappy with the results on the field, pick up a pen and start writing letter to the Institution.
troyce coach Troy's coach just be LSU and he makes about 250 a year. Money isn't the answer. Flood is not the problem, Ash sucks

You're actually correct. I've been echoing the same thing as you but you've heard the same arguments as me. He was brought in to clean up the program and they're only paying him 1.5 million per year.

I want you to ponder this thought. Over 3700 people lost their jobs when Rutgers raided UMDNJ. Many felt they couldn't get in to the B10 without the prestige of having a Medical School. Can you imagine how those who lost their jobs feel watching this team play in a conference where they're categorically overmatched.

I think u need to go back and read more.
This guy doesn't know who his QB is.
This guy doesn't know who his Rb is.
We have no linebackers who make plays.
We have no receivers who make plays.
We have no D backs who make plays.

Fine. tell me what "coaching value added" has been seen by Ash or Kill to make a difference? Intensity? Creativity? Schemes?

58-0 last year on the road.56-0 this year at home. The 2 5th year seniors he brought in (his guys) anointed to be difference makers are no better if not worse. Smells like a duck.

I personally know numerous people who were let go and they keep asking the same question regarding the B10
invite, was it worth destroying so many lives. Many people with less than 5 years till retirement were let go. The animosity out there is tremendous. Then factor in the weekly beat downs and tell me how most would not ask if the ends justified the means?

Do you realize we're playing more true freshman than any team in the country? We have no depth because of flood too.

Actually Illinois and Nebraska are both playing more true freshmen than RU has to date. Illinois is playing 24 true freshmen and starting 10. Nebraska started 8 against you guys and has most of the year. Nebraska has the youngest 2 deep in the Big 10. We have 1 senior contributor.

So we're not young just completely incompetent. Thanks for the extra kick in the nuts after another 56-0 beat down.

Zero is none. That's not correct.
Cole
Turay
Hicks (better than Gus)
Martin (better than Gus)
Gio (better than Lewis and Bolin put together)
Grant
Austin
Hampton

I'm missing others. There is talent. Just not depth.

OK I concede that point.

Not meant that way. You are a young team and not just player wise. The guy making the decisions is as green as the players trying to play the game. Some of the assistant coaches are suitcase coaches that never seem to keep jobs long, some seem to to be struggling to either teach what the head coach wants or the head coach isn’t sure what he wants.
Many on here thought Kill would be a benefit but he is in over his head trying to be an OC. I think Ash and Kill will have an alpha male falling out before it’s all over. JMO.

Can you go to the f*ck away. You are the most annoying poster in this board. RU sucks we get it, they will never be good. Nebraska is headed back to the Osborne era starting tomorrow.

No doubt you were told that by someone who lost their job, but one has nothing to do with the other. Rutgers did not raid UMDNJ. This was Trenton making a wise decision for once. This was a cost-cutting measure that made all sorts of sense. That's 3700 public sector jobs largely funded by taxpayer dollars that didn't need to be a part of the bloated state budget.

UMDNJ was a corrupt cesspit of graft and patronage. Rutgers taking it over is one of the few things Trenton's got right regarding RU in decades.
That's not true. The minister of propaganda in Trenton led the general public to believe that BS and it worked. Was UMDNJ perfect, by all means no, but the BS that you read about in the paper was a well orchestrated verbal assault in order to persuade the general public that UMDNJ was corrupt and evil. Rarely do you hear that Rutgers had spent 100 million to date to facilitate the merger. By the way that 100 million has been financed by the NJ taxpayers. I can't wait for the gubernatorial debates, they are going to be rather colorful. Remember 3700 NJ residents lost their jobs so we could field a team that may be worse than a D1AA team.

lol why so offended by a fact. The ash cheerleaders are tying to spread fake news to take the blame off our terrible coach. It's like the trumpsters with their fake news to excuse his failings. Don't be mad at him for sharing facts

Merger is going to cost money. No getting around that. But it's finite and it's small potatoes. At a relatively modest $50k mean salary, 3700 public sector jobs is a $185M outlay. Factor in benefits and that's $240M. Per year.

But that's not one sided story. The 3700 collected unemployment, the few I knew were able to get extensions that lasted 18 months at $660 per week and then went on public assistance banging the system for $1400 per month. Listen to me, it's not the win win situation played out in the media. Also, they still collect a life time (reduced) pension. The only difference is they have to wait until 60 instead of 55. When you sit down with pencil and paper you'll have no choice but to come to the following conclusion. The savings is dismial at best. Merger=B10 invite.

Schiano inherited a much worse situation than Ash. RU had never even won a bowl when he got here. Shall we compare the fanbase? How many gluttons for punishment were in the stadium tonight compared to before he started?

Purdue is just one example of team with the poor talent that we had that was coached up.

Did I expect to win tonight? No. Do we have the right to expect to beat EMU? Hell yes.
