It's not even close for me. Brother Thelonius Abbey Style Ale. It tastes like Mad Dog 20/20 mixed with gasoline. It's the worst alcoholic beverage I've ever consumed.

Worst ever?
Corona Light.

Most disappointing would have to be Yuengling Bock. Thought process was "hey, they make passable light beer. Let's see what this is like." It had a closer resemblance to Steel City Reserve than any actual Bock.

You youngsters obviously never had a Jax. As in the Jax brewery in NOLA. Stables were out back. Tasted like it was bottled straight out of the horses.

American beer was Falstaff. Overall had to be Atlas when I was stationed in Panama. A true skunk beer.

Old Rasputin
Russian Imperial Stout. Tastes like bar soap going down. If it weren't for its 10% ABV it would be completely useless.

I've never liked anything by Sam Adams. Their stuff is always too bitter for me.

My favorite go-to beers right now are Yuengling lager, Abita Amber, and Ghost River. For special occasions I'll get Guinness or Boddington's. I like Lazy Magnolia, too.

Tecate'

All we had in the middle of Nicaragua during Annual Training one year though. Tasted like a green, old as hell Busch and you were lucky if you didn't get the runs from it.

The beard beer by rogue.

Brewed with the yeast harvested from the brewmaster's beard.

My dad always said you could buy a 6 pack of Jax and all 6 would taste different from each other

Does Schlitz count? If not then I'll second Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

I drank a lot of Natty Ice in college because it was the only thing you could buy in 40oz form. 40oz's are suppose to be illegal in Mississippi because they have determined the extra 8oz creates gang violence, but for some reason they were for sale for $1 at BP.

That being said... I have very low standards.

Except this stuff they tried selling in Starkville around times of heightened shananighans (bid day, first game, homecoming, etc). Beer 30 ($9.99/30). I still have nightmares about it.

As far as things normal people would drink, anything by Sam Adams.

I disagree with a lot of these, but I especially disagree with Anchor Steam. Terrific beer.

I hate anything that's light or has some kind of fruit flavor. (beer snob)

Seconded x10. I think most people on this thread should stick to Michelob Ultra.

I'll stick to my founders centennial ipa.

What about steel reserve? Never had it but assumed it was bad.

Lol, can't say I've sampled that variety. HighLife is the cheapest I ever go, and that's only for nostalgia, since that's what I drank when I was broke and living in Suttle.

Coors Light. No contest.
And for the people bashing the cherry wheat, I haven't had it but I do find myself enjoying Shock Top Apple Crisp. I don't like fruity beers or ciders and this is neither. Highly recommended.

I have downed many an OB too, I still have an unopened one from my tour in 1990. I think they also had a beer called 33 that was just as bad.

The worst beer I ever tasted was from a "pin tapping" Lucky Town had at Table 100, some kind of pepper infused offering, just not my thing. I do love their ballistic blonde though.

When did it become cool to like all these ****** craft beer? Give me Miller Lite and y'all can keep all that awful tasting dark beer! And I like a cold Natty to mix things up now and then as well.. I'm not a fan of the craft beer fad.

Man, yes, but me and the old lady don't get to go eat at a nice place like that too often. I have to save up!** Predictable, you don't like craft beer so you must like chain restaurants. Actually, I would enjoy a Natty anytime and even at so called " fine" restaurants if they would sell it.

ha, I used to drink JAx in the quarts cost a buck .Dixie was also a fine product. Mac Banks used to sell Ballentine Ale for a dollar a six pack. Pretty awful.
