Meanwhile Knick fans beat up people in the streets.
Obviously New York and Tokyo are different but there are grimy nasty places in Japan, there is organized crime in Japan, you can get robbed and stabbed all over Japan. The people congregating in New York, after midnight, after a finals game are very different from the people traveling 10k miles and paying thousands of dollars for World Cup tickets. The Japanese fans are either very wealthy, or retired. The New Yorkers are drunk and had to take the subway to beat people up.

I love how soccer coverage makes it seem like only soccer fans get excited when their team does well.

Is that still going on?
So far, without watching it or knowing anything about it, I have just been wagering on the ML of the team that is favored and it has worked out pretty well.

I have also seen fans from other countries that are here in America talking about how amazing America is...while crazy Americans freak out on them on social media telling them that America is horrible.

I have read those stories with a great deal of interest .. i can't help but laugh at so many people in this country trying to convince us how terrible it is

You can sense how angry they are that people from other countries are in awe of how good we have it.

Then the ones that apologize to the Iranian team about how bad it is here...they are the same people that would have their head sawed off in Iran or be forced to cover up their entire body.

They can paint a line, they just don't because it is easier to manipulate the calls. I totally get it, it is smart. No other sport has such a generic subjective rule that is probably also the most important rule in the entire sport. Hockey is the most similar and somehow they were able to paint a line.

Baseball players are probably the biggest babies, I can agree with that.
They can't paint a line. Offsides is a moving target, depending upon where the last defender is. While I agree that there are certain rules that are subjective, offisides is pretty easily defined and can't be easily used to manipulate outcomes.

AR will pick up if a player was off or on.

I was once like many here. Soccer was a game you played at 4 years old until you played the "real sports". Until my kids played. Trust me, it's physical. I actually saw a high school soccer game with one kid (goalie) with a broken arm, and two others with concussions. Granted, the officiating sucked, which is why it turned into a brawl. That's what happens when you get some older fat dude that can't move to follow the action more than about 10 yards either side of midfield. 🤣

One thing I'll say is, soccer does WAY more irt the development of a football player than track. I can still remember way back in the first couple of seasons of even just coaching middle school football. All of the kids that could pick up on proper footwork irt to blocking extremely quickly? All soccer players.

NBA are the biggest babies

Relax the offsides so more goals are scored and more people would watch.
I actually agree with this. I'd like to see offsides called a little more like an illegal forward pass in football. Kind of like if any part of your body is still in line with the defender, your still onsides. Rather than your whole body having to be behimd the line of the last defender.
