*****Wisconsin vs Iowa Game Thread*****

[Kceasthawk@77]

Once again, Williams not protecting the ball with traffic around him and while he's being wrapped up............

He'll be carrying a ball around campus this week. may see more of Phillips, Jackson, and mcNeil next week.....

[Kceasthawk@77]

Lame.

Yes, in fact you are......

[PinkShizzle]

Will have to watch the recording later ....

Was Iowa just loose and ready to play today with the playoffs pressure off?

Or was Wisconsin just sucky as much in this one as they have been in the last few matchups against the Hawks??

Because F* WISCONSIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO a bit of both. Iowa looked solid and played well. Wisky also had a lot of mistakes, false start penalties (and some bad penalties in general), and had an egregious miss on a wide open receiver (although helped by Iowa defensive pressure).

[Kceasthawk@77]

Kinda surprised so many starters are still in the game

That's what Fickell gets for saying he's had THIS game circled since last years game. We did have the 2nd team D in there that last drive or so.

HB will finish this game with 222 official yards passing, gaining just 32 in the second half. The streak continues.

And 5-1 as the starter, with the lone loss to OSU. I'll stick with that stat......

[CarterHall]

I wondered that also, and Hawk gear from head to toe.....

Anyone have the answer?

[Kceasthawk@77]

Did our Center get hurt or did he get benched? I noticed Myslinski was in most of the 2nd half....

They said Winters was in the tent.

They are most certainly NOT out of the hunt the way the last couple of weeks have gone for the top 25

[AFM22]

Anyone have the answer?

I think he was there with Big Noon bc of his partnership with Barstool sports

[Rambler Hawk]

Anyone have the answer?

Not sure, he also showed some love for the Clowns last season....

He did this earlier this season with Navy. That was a great watch. Check out his speech he gave the wrestling team. Gave me chills.

I suppose if it really bothers you, you could ask a mod.

No nudity or anything other than a dirty joke implication. I imagine they'd laugh it off but ya never know; maybe they'd remove it.

It doesn't really but i have 6 granddaughters so it isn't as funny as it might have been years ago.

Well, it was consensual.

Looks like the 300 yard streak continues

we go over 200 though

We clearly don't have an explosive offense, but it's games like this that we tend to forget when complaining about that 300 yard streak.

When you have a defense that is absolutely dominating and pitching a shutout... You miss getting 300 when you could have easily hit that.

On pace to easily go over 300, but you are up 30 and time to chew clock. If we would have needed to go score for score with Wisconsin today... We hit 300.

But I like 30-0 more!
