Was Iowa just loose and ready to play today with the playoffs pressure off?

Or was Wisconsin just sucky as much in this one as they have been in the last few matchups against the Hawks??

IMO a bit of both. Iowa looked solid and played well. Wisky also had a lot of mistakes, false start penalties (and some bad penalties in general), and had an egregious miss on a wide open receiver (although helped by Iowa defensive pressure).

Kinda surprised so many starters are still in the game

That's what Fickell gets for saying he's had THIS game circled since last years game. We did have the 2nd team D in there that last drive or so.

HB will finish this game with 222 official yards passing, gaining just 32 in the second half. The streak continues.

And 5-1 as the starter, with the lone loss to OSU. I'll stick with that stat......

We clearly don't have an explosive offense, but it's games like this that we tend to forget when complaining about that 300 yard streak.

When you have a defense that is absolutely dominating and pitching a shutout... You miss getting 300 when you could have easily hit that.

On pace to easily go over 300, but you are up 30 and time to chew clock. If we would have needed to go score for score with Wisconsin today... We hit 300.

But I like 30-0 more!

Try again. The loss to Minny goes on the starter, Heck. EVERY podcast the last two days said the same thing as well, if Brown started at Minny we probably win that game. For the record Hecks ONE win was against a Washington team that could NOT stop the run. Period. The game was over at that point. We could have won that game with a team manager handing the ball off 50 times......
