Well it's called preventing something before it becomes a problem. If someone OD's or almost you make them go get help before hey repeat it or get worse. When you do something to extremes (get so drunk that you pass out in the street) then you need to get some help. When people say "oh he just didn't handle it right it's his/her first time" all you're doing is ignoring a potential issues. It's always better to be safe than sorry in these cases before it potentially snowballs into something serious

He passes out once and now he has a "serious problem?" Jump to conclusions much?

The fact that he handled his liquor so poorly indicates he's new to this ****.

Can someone embed the video into this thread? There are some of us who cannot watch it for whatever reasons...

1. That was a different era back when DUIs were not treated as severely as today. It took an appalling number of innocent dead bodies before we realized they should be treated more harshly.

2. political families are political families. The rules are different for Political families. Political families get admitted to Yale even when piss poor C students with mediocre test scores. They get strings pulled to avoid the military draft and then face no punishment when they go AWOL on their national guard obligations. They get elected To many offices even when they've never succeeded at a real job in their life. And, yeah, little matters like driving drunk tend to whitewashed as well. Unfortunately for him, Willis is not from a political family.

Fixed that entire post for ya.

That's the type of video that wouldn't shock me to see someone do some anal rape on him. I'm serious. We had a buddy Tiny who passed out and we stuffed big ol summer sausages into his butt and took pictures of him. They ended up on that former great site. Consumption Junction.

That's how lucky he was to have his clothes on.

It's official . . . you're official.

Nobody should be judged by their worst moment. It's up to Derek to write the ending.

Damn, Derek. He beat my worst ... with alcohol.

I once slept in some bushes behind an apartment complex in October 2000 and used my hoodie as a pillow and one of my shoes as a puke bucket. Drank about 10 boilermakers made with Canadian Mist whiskey and Milwaukee's Best heavy. [sick]

Glad nobody was killed or hurt. I won't condemn Derek too much or I'd be a hypocrite. Have a feeling he's running his *** off as we speak.

Let's say someone was under suspicion of being on alcohol behind the wheel and was submitted to the screening /blood and no alcohol was present but the joint they hit 3 weeks earlier was. Can they stick you with a DUI because of that?

And I don't know why but it just seems bizarre to me that someone is basically forced to submit their blood to authorities. I didn't realize it fell under implied consent when you fill out your liscense.
The answer to your question is yes, you could be stuck with it. It depends on the county and if your lawyer wants to fight it. If there is no proof of impaired driving, I think it helps your case. However, you can't be forced to submit to a test.

You worry early not late when it's too late. No one is saying he should be kicked off the team or locked up but he does need to be punished and not some light punishment. That's not even debatable

I'm not. I'm saying the people freaking out badly need to step back, take a breathe and realize people make mistakes and if he got his second DUI then there is something to really worry about

Let's use this needlessly drawn out topic to instead share drinking war stories..

I'm confused by the poster who claimed that the car was "parked perfectly." It doesn't look that way to me at all. In fact, in the video the rear passenger side wheel clearly appears to be up on the curb. Am I seeing this wrong?

Yeah there's some definite curb service there...certainly appears as if he he pulled up, threw it in park and fell out into the street.

Seriously ?

That's EXACTLY how you park when you are parking in the street and don't want your car to get nailed. Have you never parked in front of a friend's house? Or do you refuse to park unless there is a driveway.

I park as close to the grass as possible so I don't risk having a missing mirror. By perfect, I meant he was straight, which it is.

In the state he was in I highly doubt he would have been able to accomplish that, considering he passed out in a road.

Why would anyone refuse to take a breathalyzer? If you're sober, wouldn't you want to prove it?
Even if you are sober, you may not want to take one. If you smoked pot, meth etc. at some time which will still show up on your blood test, it is probably in your best interest to refuse. Since the blood test results are public record, your employer could find out. Or your Probation officer if you have one. Therefore, it really depends on an individual's circumstances.

LMAO at the obvious UL troll CatFromDahood trying to subtlely criticize UK fans for their opinions on this. Enjoy another postseason ban, and another azz whipping from UK, clown.

Typically i'd just ignore a troll-crier like you, but i'll just say that i'm sure the mods here know better.

Although I'm curious just how many people you have accused of being a fan of another team....i'll just ignore you instead.

@CatFromDaHood you sure do seem to bring up UL and Duke quite a bit, not to mention many of the likes you give out...

And by the way, @tmuck isn't a big troll accuser...

[rhetorical] Is there any "not so in the closet food fetish people" in this thread? Fat asses (more than 250 lbs.unless your near 7 ft tall) I would expect. Did that hit a nerve?

LOL. Good to see i'm not the only one. He only likes posts that are critical of UK players or fans, and he's constantly getting in his little subtle digs at UK fans. Go look up some of his previous post in his very brief posting history. This one was a sinch to sniff out.
