SOS every play. Not even a run attempt, or planned QB draw.
Yes, he is a threat to overthrow a receiver and a threat to hand off the ball every time even when the outside defender crashes down on the RB and there is no one on the outside."Duel threat"
Wow, you actually thought that guy was open? Both were double covered because we had to keep 7 blockers in to protect against 4 rushers. I’m not even counting the 3 LBs playing zone underneath. That’s 7 defenders in the secondary against 3 receivers. How does he throw that interception when a guy is wide open down the field.

Injuries and stupid NCAA ruling killed that room. I like Strong but he is a freshman. Jackson going down early in that game made it worst. So true.
But in fairness, the receivers are mediocre at best.
The guy at the 3:49 second mark upper right corner is not open? #20 somethingWow, you actually thought that guy was open? GW was backing up and off balance when he threw it. Normally he is good at setting his feet. The receiver wasn't wide open but there was a window. How does he throw that interception when a guy is wide open down the field.
For the hundredth time, we don’t do RPO. GW doesn’t make reads. Those plays are predetermined. No RPO? No runs? No Qb draws? No roll outs? Worst completion rate in college football?
We have a problem.
And yet, it’s a big improvement from last year.No RPO? No runs? No Qb draws? No roll outs? Worst completion rate in college football?

Then they should have predetermined to have GW keep the ball and run around the edge. For the hundredth time, we don’t do RPO. GW doesn’t make reads. Those plays are predetermined.
It looks like they did on the 3rd and 2 Langan false start. That’s where he went to the right to block. Then they should have predetermined to have GW keep the ball and run around the edge.
OK, once.It looks like they did on the 3rd and 2 Langan false start. That’s where he went to the right to block.
I don’t know why just once. Maybe a schematic reason. Does it matter ? Point is, and I wish I could find/copy/paste my prior post about this…but simply put, our scheme doesn’t match our talent when facing good teams. We can’t match the bigger, faster, stronger better teams in our league by playing this style of football. We need to be imaginative. Be unconventional. Adjust what we do. What works against Indiana won’t work against the top of the conference. Take chances. Sure, we don’t have a roster full of 4 and 5 star players but we have absolutely no chance to compete by playing conservative football. Yet our game plan is only to lose by as few points as possible rather than trying to win. If GW throws 3 deep ball ints so what. At least we tried. The small ball offense you see is an offense that isn’t allowed to try and not allowed a chance to win. Same goes for special teams. Why never a punt return. Never. We’re down big and still a fair catch every time. Don’t people realize we’re not going to attract top skill players since opportunities are so restricted ?OK, once.
