He’ll somehow turn this year into a positive and get another $1.5m/yr from Barnhart. Dude will somehow work it out for his family to be paid after he’s in his grave and Mitch will sign off on it.

Say what you about Cal, though the one thing we can all agree on, he has a sizeable ego, this season is going to eat at him all summer long. I expect him to turn the dial-up tremendously in the off-season, he's already brought in the beast we needed, a solid recruiting class, though I expect him to sign at least three more players. He's going to have his team ready next year. Maybe this season was an omen to a degree, it's likely to re-energize Cal. I expect at least one assistant coach to be replaced as well, there's going to be a reckoning of sorts...
Losing countless games in the final 4:00 is a coaching issue. He needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror or GTFO.

He didn’t learn a thing this year, his ego is why! He thinks it is the players and not the system. I’m scared for next year unless we get 6-7 new players. The ones now are terrible.
Whoa! I thought we hated the roster turning over every year?

Cal created UK basketball. Without Cal, UK basketball is nothing.

Well, at least according to Cal.
