IU and UCLA, where coaching careers go to die. They ain't UK.
Of course, if we keep up with this farm system bs, we won't be much better. We'll be a has-been program too.
That's exactly what we will be if we replace Cal with most of these suggestions. UK also isn't what you seem to think it is. If so, we wouldn't have ended up with Sutton, Smith and BCG in our somewhat recent history.
Brad Stevens isn't coming to UK. Again, if you want to get rejected by him, be my guest, but I prefer living with the reality of the situation. Also, Steven's salary is much higher than you seem to realize. You are just accounting for his base salary. Brad Stevens signed a 6 year / $22,000,000 contract with the Boston Celtics, including an annual average salary of $3,666,667. His contract also includeds a signing bonus, a roster bonus, a restructure bonus, a workout bonus, and an incentive bonus. He is making out pretty well in Boston. Not to mention advertisement deals. He also doesn't really have to recruit year round or deal with the academic and NCAA side of things. Again, go embarrass yourself be getting rejected by him. UK will pass. Nor is he going to leave a successful Boston Celtics franchise to coach at UK. That's just stupid!
2 E8's in the last 3 tournaments and likely anothet last year tell me we aren't even close to has-been. In 10 tournament eligible seasons, Cal has had us in at least the E8 7 times. If you look at our history, we don't historically make it that far 70% of the time. Use your head!
Lexington crime ain’t breaking any damn records. My family lives there, I used to live there and I go there quite often, it, like any other city, has bad areas, but don't even try to act like it's freaking Gary, IN.
They might have higher crime than they did 10 years ago, but the population is much greater and it's still booming. Hilarious. Nice reach.
Lol, sure it is. My brother works in law enforcement for LFUCG. It's pretty bad currently. Record homicides and violent crimes. Drug crimes are up, theft, property damage and vandalism. It's all at historic highs. You might want to tell your family to educate themselves a bit about what's going on in their community.
Yes, Lexington is growing. Growing cities tend to have growing crime. Are you honestly that ignorant to not be able to follow your own statements logically?
Remember, you said this team would be, at worst, a 5 seed. That gets more and more laughable to me with every passing day.
Yea, I stand by it. Was even more reassured after our first half yesterday. I told you when I msde that prediction we likely would lose this weekend. It all changes starting against UL. From there we have a very favorable schedule and hopefully get Brooks back. We will be just fine.
