Nobody in college basketball can guard him one-on-one, spare MAYBE:
- Bamba, who's probably too slow, but I've seen footage where Ayton more or less dominated Bamba in drills and scrimmages
- Bagley, quick enough but probably not strong enough
- Jaren Jackson Jr, I'm just throwing his name in here but he can't guard Ayton.
Nobody can straight up stop him. Our strength as a team is digging steals out of post-ups and creating tough driving lanes in the middle of the floor because of our length. That'd be the approach, I'd think. Difficult on the catch, harass him any time he thinks about dribbling. You'd expect some zone. I actually think our army of forwards and our two-headed average center could be enough to at least make his life difficult.
Arizona is good, but they're beatable. Anybody that's watched them this year knows as much.
