Saban has a little more credence in talking this way when fans are upset with a 10-1 team entering the Iron Bowl and having clinched SEC West with shot at another College Football Playoff Appearance with an extremely young team.

This isn't a shot at Cal, but it's just a different realm of comparison.

You must be stupid to not know the difference in college football and basketball. Football players cannot go pro until 3 years after their high school class graduates. Basketball is 1 year. Might want to know the rules before posting.

It might make a difference and it may not. Everyone’s players would be staying three years. It would be interesting to see if Cal would implement a structured offense and maybe some inbounds plays, zones etc.
Saban is still playing under the same rules as everyone else and dominating them. In his sport you lose one game and you’re chances of a championship are greatly reduced.
