Same here. Except I was at work when word came the 1st plane hit. I figured it was a small private plane accident. We spent the rest of the day in the conference room watching the news. Then I gave blood on the way home.I heard on the radio as I was driving into work that a small commuter plane had collided with one of the towers. By the time I got into the office, it was clear that it was worse than that. Spent the rest of the day in the conference room watching the today show which stayed on air all day. I'll never forget it. No work was done at my company that day.
Same here. Seemed like a smaller freak accident. Then we got to work and we are all glued to the TVs the rest of the day.I remember hearing on the radio driving to the office the first reports that a small plane had hit the World Trade Center then a little later hearing about the 2nd.
I had **** my pants and was cleaning up.When the world stopped tuning on that September day?
At my office. I was walking down the hall and heard something about a plane crash at the WTC on the radio we had on. I went to a TV we had that wasn't on, turned it on, and saw the second plane crash. We brought the two clients we had in the office up and we all watched for 30 minutes or so. We eventually hurriedly concluded what we needed to do. We were open the rest of our week, but everyone canceled. That week was just surreal. I'll say this, I absolutely miss the unity in AmericaWhen the world stopped tuning on that September day?
Thank you for your service!I was in the Army, stationed in Germany at the time. I was walking down the hallway and my buddy pulled me into his office and told me about the first plane. I thought it must be some kind of bad accident until I saw the second plane hit. Needless to say that day, and many subsequent days after, were very long days. That was the day I learned what the phrase "you're a soldier 24/7" really meant.
Well you ruined this.At home in North Carolina (used to be NCDawg13) with my sick then toddler son. Was a beautiful day, so I was actually outside washing the car with him and my now ex-wife was frantically trying to call me about the World Trade Centers. Went inside, turned on the tv, and watched the United States get attacked.
Now, 25 yrs later we have a totally different perspective as to what happened. I$r@el was responsible. Still remember douchebag Drumpf bragging about having the tallest building in NYC afterwards.
