was that when alot of the posters om soundoff got banned
It was. Apparently some posters on the FB board were using a dead forum as a “lounge” so to speak. I guess it wasn’t moderated so they were discovered, reported and banned. I never even knew about any of it until after they had some sweeping ban.

I still have no idea what I had to do with any of it?

Registered and starting posting here in 2003, though it is probable I lurked a short while before becoming a member. I've always had the same somewhat lame moniker.

Found this around the “door time” when that assclown Gillespie was fired and UK was searching for a new coach.
I don’t post much except when loaded during a game or making predictions on Ole Red’s contest.
Love the site though and check it daily!

96? AOL days.
That may have been around the time I came on.. I just had forgotten the name of it.. Now after you mentioned it it was AOL.. I was on a few more during the old dial up day's searching every where I could for UK Sports info..
I may have been on some earlier than that but my mind is numb for all the traveling I used to do..

Really? I did something similar on my TI-994A, my CoCo II, Commodore 64 and my Apple II. The Timex Sinclair just wouldn't cut it. Yeah, I still have these things, believe it or not.
That 64 was the bee’s knees. Had mine rocking a 1200 baud modem for Q-Link.

I've only had one other username I used but it wasn't on this forum. Was on The Cats Domain forum in the late 90's. I can't recall what I used, back then. When I came here in the early 2000's the username I wanted was taken so I went with BlueWorldOrder and the rest is history.

Started in spring of ‘95 on AOL (TA4UK). Later that year found wildcat chat. Continued to post on AOL for 6 or 7 years, but wcc was my main board from day one and have been here ever since. Started out as Terry, then changed to KSR Terry, when we switched. People kept thinking I was a mod, so I changed to my current username whenever we made the last switch. Have been posting here in some form of the site for 27 years now. Hard to believe it’s been that long.

You ARE history BWO... I am so thankful for your tireless work in providing game access / videos for us to be able to pull up!!! You are, IMHO, one of the greatest contributors to this group!

Clark Francis had the Hoop Scoop, remember very well following Bogans recruitment on that. That was straight up AOL dial up lol!
LOL , there was a time when Clark Francis was considered THE MAN ! For some reason I can still remember him saying that Bea Zac Smith would DOMINATE Rasheed Wallace if they went head to head .

2003 or so. Had a different user name back then.

I was at Spam's, Eric's Wildcat Page, Dynasty Defenders, and one other site before coming here.

Started in early to mid 90s with a site run by (Rainman) Steve Johns, and people named Darryl, Keith and Babs. That site changed names/ownership at least three times and I wound up here.

I had begun posting on a national basketball web site, Hoop Scoop. Because it was for all programs there were user names like DukefaninJersey, or JayhawkerfromTopeka. So I chose my handle based on that template. When I found the Wildcat Chat board I kept the name.
Me too . I was Middleman back in those days. I had a friend that was a team manager. I went to see a JV game (Naz, Simmons, ???) and he took me to the locker room in Memorial and showed me the denim uniforms ( BEFORE THEY WERE EVEN ANNOUNCED) , the first jersey he pulled out was JACKSON . I said “who’s Jackson” , he said “ a guy that’s transferring from Florida St “ . So I posted on the site that I knew FOR A FACT that Randal Jackson was transferring to Kentucky (as had been rumored). Of course it never happened . Learned a lesson back then .

Read here on my dad's account in middle school/high school starting in the middle of the 03 season. Got my own account after (HolmesWildcat). Stopped coming to the board for a while, forgot log in information for the account and email attached to it. Now I'm using this terrible pun of a name(Tayshaun is part of the "Prince") that backfired after the season started.

I’ve been around for a long time. Always under Jamal Mercer. I want to say I started on Catspause or wildcatfaithful right around 1999 or 2000.

started out on CNNSI boards in the late 90's. The UK/Duke/UNC board would average about 10K posts a week each there. Crazy levels of program pride and hatred of others. It was unmoderated essentially, then I heard about Rainman's board and started posting there. Night and day difference - heavily modded, no tolerance for any criticism of the UK program. I started out as ChurchofBBall which I thought was creative, everyone called me CoBB which I didn't like so I switched to KFWA.
KFWA utlimately was banned during the Tubby/Kentucky Kernal Ad time frame, I took a couple of years off, mellowed and came back; have been Tanked since.

I’ve been here since the Wildcatchat days with Rainman, Keith, Babs, BEvans, and others. I don’t post or read as often as I used to, but check in every week or two to see any news. I lost a bunch of posts as well.

Speaking of old posters, where do Darrell and the other prominent old Wildcatchat people post now? CitizenBBN was one of my favorite posters ever.

Around the time Cal came here. Used to be KYtotheCore. Was swept up in some bizarre ban on another rivals board that I had no involvement in whatsoever ever - in fact I was oblivious to what the offenses were to those involved - and didn’t have any other choice but to reincarnate.
I wondered what happened to you.

Profile on here from 2004. I was a lurker before creating a profile. Still don't post a lot! I have read this board through all the ownership changes. This board has made my angry and laugh quite frequently over the years!

Funny story. You mellowed a lot but had a few moments with Tank.

I remember brawling with you one time and said your handle is fitting because your post tank every time. You were hella argumentative. This was probably 4 years ago or so.

Since then you seem like Aikes little brother.

Lurked and read for quite a while, then in 2006 I created my profile and joined this site, which was then CatsPause. Always had the same username even though I'm retired from welding.
