And we run the same scheme which is NOT THE AIR RAID!!!!

Josh Heupel is more in line with what OU, Baylor(Briles) or in some ways what Leach does than he is the Chip Kelly model. They often take deep shots to keep favorable numbers in the box.

We are not 2017 UCF, we are 2019 Nebraska. That was the best offense in college football that season and they could run the ball VERY well. We can’t run the football well....Hmmmm

We’re clueless to the spread option offense though....
Yes you are clueless! Watch the first half of that game again. UCF, who you stated was the best offense in college football couldn't do anything including run the ball against Auburn in the first half. Suddenly they could in the 2nd half. What was the difference??? They attacked deep and opened up the offense.

Our spread scheme is designed to put pressure on defenses from all facets. Ideally players are put in iso situations and left with favorable match ups due to alignment and often deception. Going deep is one variable in stressing whatever defense your facing. Just like screen, iso, option, zone, trap, and your short and mid passing plays they are all important variables. It doesn't matter if it's more of a power scheme or finesse, for this offense to work, you either can't be predictable or you have to far superior talent.

These are facts. How are you going to argue that the deep pass game shouldn't be part of our game plan!!!
