If a wet paper bag sets a screen on Wheels, I hope he doesn’t look like an automobile test dummy like he did today.

What a bizarre thread. Got a guy in here who repeatedly bragged about his buddy's wife and talked both of them up as if it's suppose to impress us and get him a threesome while the buddy (op) ***** on one of our injured players. Remember a couple days ago when the anti-Cal guys kept saying "who's bashing the players?? We're lashing out against the coach and only the coach!"

Again, just a weird *** thread with some creepy thrown in for good measure.

Bizarre indeed. Examples of why this board has gone to pot.

Would you consider yourself someone who is fair-minded and willing to engage in an open discussion, willing to hear all sides ... or ... do you normally resort to such stupid and crude commentary? Just curious but I have a feeling I already know the answer.
No, I don't normally resort to "such stupid and crude commentary", just when it is warranted. I'm disappointed in anyone that would resort to calling a kid that got hurt like that "soft". That was BS and uncalled for. And yes, I'm fair-minded, but not sure what that would have to do with this situation. It's one thing to question a kid's play, but to call him soft???? The dude is a tool

Lol. Wheeler isn’t built like a pro player dude. Sure. He needs to hit the gym some and bulk up. Most college players do. Comparing college sports to pro sports is not even close. Go ask any college rb that thinks they are God’s gift to football the first time they find out the MLBs are nearly as fast as they are. Sure once they’ve been in the league a couple of years they usually can hang, but most college level talent gets a very rude awakening at the next level.
Hes a JR...... and he cant take a screen

That explains a lot. College is a bit different than high school let me tell you. The guys are much bigger, much stronger and HIT a lot harder
Lol I played 6A HS ball again ppl with schollies to OSU and places like that. We played the best teams in the nation. Meanwhile Wheeler is a JR in college and cant take a screen? Better blame Oscar for his little Defensive awareness.

I played high school and college football. In high school you figured out that in most games their were 2 or 3 guys that could light you up on the other team. The difference in college I learned is that Eveybody on the feild can light you up. College is night and day different than high school. As for Wheeler you ,I nobody has any idea how the the long term effects from the first concussion he suffered at LSU might be affecting him.

Well sit down then. Let Sharpe or mintz or any other guard play. I dont need a 5'8 guy who cant shoot and cant take a screen to play "hurt" bc frankly its embarrassing to see him sit on the floor like he got knocked by Tyson.

I believe that Wheeler's problem is that he automatically/instinctively snaps his back whenever he feels any contact at all in hopes of drawing a foul. Most players of this generation do the exact same thing. Players learn at a young age that acting has a tremendous effect on referees. Watch a college game and count the head snap backs. It's ridiculous!

I had 2. I played both games full through and a practice I didnt say anything. Mind you I was in HS.
Unfortunately, you sound like you are still in high school. The point of growing up is to mature in the way you think. You may be a stand-up person and great to your family and friends, but you appear to have not grown up that much when it comes to this part of your personality. Take some time to think about that. If you feel the need to lash out, write it out and then delete before you hit post reply. That, or just ignore this one man's opinion.

The sad thing is that there is a lot of disagreement among our own fans as to whether Sav is legitimately injured or if he is a dook style flop artist. I personally believe that due to his size and position that he has learned to "sell it." If he did get hurt with any of those screens then to my eyes the injuries have come from his tossing his head back to sell it. Did he have this same issue at UGA?

this thread is the perfect example of how completely stupid , moronic and juvenile sports fan in general is ( not just UK fan ) . Kid is under 6 ft getting screened by dudes twice is size and gets up and plays his *** off if he can see straight . He is tough as shite . And one of the 5 best pg in cbb to boot . Right now UK has the 2 best pg it has had since Fox . When both are healthy UK is easily a top 5 team. UK clearly , clearly was better then AU til TyTy went down. And we still fought our asses off. I pray we get AU in SECT.

I was screaming at the TV - get up Wheeler, I think is a bit dramatic to be honest.
Wandale took real man shots on the football field and popped up.
TBH he is a bit soft.
What kind of helmet and pads is Wheeler wearing?

Save the witty, Tampax pads response.

Taking a hard screen can be rough but it’s basketball. Just have to pop up and work through it. Can’t lay on the floor. Bad for momentum.

I find it interesting that no one is calling out TyTy for being "soft" after getting knocked out both yesterday and against LSU. Is it because we can visualize an ankle injury and leg cramps better than we can a head and neck injury? Did anyone call Bogan's soft in 2003. Wall should have been out there and not on the bench with his so-called "leg-cramps". Tape it up and rub some dirt on it, right? These kids go out and work their asses off for our entertainment. The least we can do is acknowledge that they are human and can get hurt and make mistakes.

Look I love the guy but go back and look at the play again, he was not a full speed and kinda snaps his head a second AFTER it happens. Just get up and play ball, your gonna get screened.

A threesome with runt and Kayla? Good lord count me in on that.

I kept reading on and something else he’s not saying but I will. He played for a high school in Kentucky that you all know very well and is one the the all time reception leaders. So I get it but we never get context and since I know him I figured id offer it.

Wheeler needs to put his head on a swivel and a arm extended to feel the screener
Sometimes Oscar is to far away for Wheeler to hear
