This! I actually am always on my phone and had to figure out how to even go look and see where you find that. Considering I always seem to have someone disagreeing, I was surprised to have any.

Look at the posting “legends” on here and you will see it takes more than likes to add real value. You can get likes with kittens and boobs- no complaints here for the latter. Anyone can be a kiss (_\_) for likes, but you have to be a little bit controversial and actually think to add value and join that group. Likes alone won’t get you there. I would say around 60-70% is the sweet spot.
Morg is the exception of course with just the right mix of boob to original thought.

164%. That seems obscenely high, but I don't post that often and when I do it's only when I have something worth saying. So I end up making a few long post a month (usually about football) and they get a ton of "likes". For people that post frequently (especially as responses to other posts) getting that kind of number is going to be extremely difficult.

So it's kind of an apples and oranges situation. I don't think you can completely judge the quality of a poster simply by likes attained. You also have to look at frequency and type of post.

This board is tough by most standards. You can post about anything on the football board and if it’s positive the likes flow. It’s like TN basketball. Lower expectations breeds good manners.

I had something like 10,100 posts before the “likes” became a feature. I was away from this board for quite a while. I “liked” the dislike feature in the old system. I wish that was still an option.
