What's your 'post like' record?

I have more "likes" than I do total posts.

With my relatively low number of posts compared to the date that I joined, I've been labelled a "troll" and a "hater" and a "UL Troll Fan" and so on and so forth. Is it when I finally hit 1000 posts that my postings are valid and Im no longer a troll? Or, what is the number that everyone throws out there?

I had well over 10k posts before liking was a thing.

Then I took a few years off the board, only posting here and there, then recently got back into it seriously last season.

I'm at 21.4%

In other words, I just roll the keyboard out and let my McDonald's All-American fingers do all the work.

I think I had over 20,000 posts on Rivals before "Likes" were an option. I've been around since 1999 and had over 25,000 posts on the old Kentucky Sports Report/WildcatChat, and then thousands more on the old Rivals site before it went under the first time.
Yeah Legalbeagle we were on here all the way back when it all started. I lost my username and posts when the switch happened. Moneyshot was such a great name lol!

I actually think it hurt the quality of the board. Too many people are looking for a quick one-liner instead of actual conversation. We're all guilty of it.

I wish there were an up/down vote feature that would push terrible posts to the bottom or cause them to be hidden and better stuff to the top.

Truth. I never cared too much for getting likes. I come to the board to have conversation; my like percentage is far lower than anyone else's, since I have had this account for almost 16 years. Furthermore, I could not care less on whether people like my posts. The upvote-downvote model encourages the herd mentality/Groupthink. I do not give out a lot of likes, nor do I receive many. And that's OK.

Edit: My like percentage is 12.6%.

The like button is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s turned the board into Facebook. And also the more you have the more you’re attacked over it by insecure posters who value themselves by a stupid like.

I’m usually on my phone so I never see the like counts anyway. Makes it better imo.

Your like percentage is about 160 percent; however, the way to get likes is to either a) say the popular thing like "Duke sucks", or "Louisville sucks" or something about "Fifteeno", b) simply be agreeable to the masses, c) be a troll from another fanbase and bring some buddies with you so they would all like each other's posts d) make multiple accounts to inflate your likes, e) attack someone with an unpopular, but often truthful opinion, or f) Who cares?

All hail your new lord and emperor of Catspaw!

*Edit* To celebrate this momentous occasion I have decreed that anyone who posts in this thread will be liked by me...so uh, like my post since I'm liking yours!

I've been here since day 1 and have about 21k posts. I also post a bunch in the game threads that move quickly and have less of a chance to get likes. I don't really worry about it though. I'm at about .37% of likes to posts. I have no clue how many posts were before the like button though.

110%, seems low. Like more of myself! I always get a kick out of the posters that I read and think dam this person is negative. Then I look at their likes and it's like 7,500 posts 235 likes. Then I think how did they get those 235 likes LOL.

Like "American Idol" for sports forums! I like it. We can vote people off (or to the bottom) each week.

Divide your 'likes' by your total number of posts. Maybe not scientifically accurate because people post in different forums, just thought it could be a fun thread.

I'm at 67%
I’m at 113.49%
I must have very few bad takes[winking]

88% screw you all with more likes than posts. With hard work and determination to not get banned, I’ll be in that ahole club.
