Daughter has a Xcountry meet till 2ish so that rules out any early cooking or cooking during the game. So instead I'm cooking some Chicken and Sausage gumbo tonight for tomorrow evening. We'll probably do some boudin for appetizers.

I am priced out of deer hunting where I live. So this year I "bought" a deer. Meaning I paid a processer of an already processed deer that was never picked up. All I had to do was pay for the processing charges.

Well, holy crap, I misread the sheet. So I paid for the deer expecting 3.5 lbs of boudin, and instead got 35 pounds of boudin.

So good lord y'all if anybody wants some boudin, come get it (Montgomery, Al). It's good stuff but 35 lbs for one person, if I eat it all I will end up talking like Cookie Monster the coach at LSU.
