My daughter just moved to Ashville. Her social service salary is a little more than 100% for same work in SC, Ga and Fla. Unfortunately her rent is about 300% of what it would be in SC. Considering a double wide, but 2 acres go for $125G. She just sold the one I bought for her and granddaughter in 2004. I would be too embarrassed to tell you what hers was sold for in SC and the identical double wide is priced for in Ashville, NC. She still has the 4.5 acres of improved land in SC.
Of course, I gave them the MH to apply proceeds to granddaughter college. PT said there was one per minute. I am well educated to what he meant with that saying. Daughter insisted I go with her to give my input on new car. My input was for my signature as co-signer - me primary. That was 3rd time. Didn't even have trickery involved except to drop payment book off with prior deals.
Learning very slowly that a father's work is never done. This girl just turned 50. Before wife passed, she bought granddaughter a car. Wife didn't survive long enough to make an insurance payment. I received that honor.
OP don't assume you get relief at a certain age. It goes on until death I guess. Who is going to loan me a crying towel?

I get what your saying, & I see it coming, I'm paying for college & all things around it ...i will always be there for them , & I hope & pray I'm always able to help them
