Know all about quadrants in geometry, but when did this term enter CBB in terms of good wins, etc? I've seen it thrown around on here a few times lately but don't remember it in years past.
How many quad one wins do we have? I just saw where Michigan st has only two top 50 wins lol.

At a quick glance, looks like we've played more quadrant 1 and 2 games than anyone but Kansas.
Also have no losses lower than quadrant 2.
Not a great resume, but a fairly "safe" resume, I would think.
What system does the NCAA tournament committee use to rank (RPI, etc.) teams to determine which Quadrant the win or loss would fall into?
When they make the brackets which means it’ll likely shift some before tournament timeIs it RPI at the time we play or RPI when they make the brackets?
Except the selection committee can fudge the numbers how they want to in order to boost their darlings, I.e, DukeBasically, computers decide the seeds. Just plain stupid.
Lol, that sounds about right. Put Mich St., Arizona, UNC and UK in the WestDuke and Xavier will be in same bracket. Maybe throw in Gonzaga and Rhode Island.
This new system was designed to reward you for winning road and neutral site games....almost as if they knew that officiating on the road is so horrendous you have to be 10 points better to win.

Still with the RPI ****. So a win v. #50 carries more value than a win v. #51. What a crock of crap.
LSU has 7 Quad 1 wins!
I’ll just sit here and stare at your avatar and hope for your sake, your wife is her twin sister.Exactly. No bad losses, few great wins. Pretty safe as you say. Probably a 6-8 seed right now.
These are legit too they have tons of losses but they actually won some quad 1 games something we can't seem to do.
They won @ A&M (we couldn't) they won at Arkansas (will we ?)
They also beat A&M and Arkansas and Missouri at home currently all top 30 RPI teams.

I did. Glanced quickly thru a page or two and it was all about math, geometry, etc. Didn't spend a lot of time on it so I might have missed it. So I decided to throw it on here since I don't recall ever seeing a discussion on it, but I might have missed (whenever they came up with this new metric).First you must answer
WHAT IS GOOGLE. You find that answer and I promise you will have the answers you seek at a much faster rate
This could be the best/most accurate response. It's the word the creepy dude & Duke dotards on ESPN have come up with to promote their favorite teams & conferences.
