“Conversations” can be one-sided. Your friend may be a big booster and may be complaining to the administration, but that’s a long way from anything happening.

SR turning his back on the coaching staff in his podcast today was a pretty big red flag to me.

It's definitely interesting, especially since he's been Moorhead's chief water carrier all year.

At the same time, these latest rumors may well come from people reading too much into Steve's comments. It could just be that Steve is as pissed as the rest of us, and rightfully so, since he's been defending the guy.

When he responded to a comment from someone doubting changes were coming with "hide and watch" and then told someone that asked if it was too late to make a change with "it's never too late" I had a feeling it was more than just him being pissed off. He also did not respond to a question I asked him directly about a possible change on 247 and he never leaves a question unanswered on there.

Yeah, we'll see. I saw the same comments. He said on his podcast that making a head coaching change after the bowl game would be unprecedented but maybe that's what we need to do. He's definitely of the Moorhead train. But I'll still have to see it to believe it.

I usually don’t post information from my source for fear of burning said source but I think it’s time. He is almost 100% sure we will field a football team next year. It’s highly likely we will have a head coach leading said team. Anything beyond this is still fluid at this time. I’ll relay any updates as they become available.

There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.

That's the only hope I've been holding on to. For him to come out with a scathing rebuke of his pre-MCB take tells me something's in the air..... It's one of two things we can be sure I think. That there will be a housecleaning this time or they are planning on putting a tub of maroon lipstick-colored lard on that pig and walking that crap lockstep down our throats.

He's chasing the story that some proJo folks post-EB have changed their minds......

Steve just posted this on 247 "I have tried to spend some time with the wife as well as work the phones. I am chasing the story and trying to cover all angles to determine how much fire there is to all of this smoke. I can tell you with confidence that many of the same people who were supportive of another year post Egg Bowl aren't as solid in their earlier resolve."

What's going to be bad is whenever we finally hire a new coach if Cohen goes after another 'experiment' and puts us through another 3 years of the same BS. We just need to fork out the cash and get a proven coach. and If Cohen won't do it we need to get someone who will.

Keenum more than pissed about the fight still not happy about the MCB and the season in general

That probably along with the fact that Joe couldn't even keep the team off twitter talking back to fans about the fight

If we do get a new staff, I’ll be very disappointed if we don’t get the Feld guy for S&C and other former players on the staff in some capacity.

I’m 180 from where I was post-egg bowl.
Not picking on you, but how could anyone be 180 from where they were post Egg Bowl? We saw the same damn team Monday we've seen all season. The Egg Bowl was a putrid performance by us, but thankfully Mississippi was even worse.

and on his FB LIVE he just said - "Smoke out of the chimney in the next 24-36 hours" and "There is talk in the wind about massive changes" and He said "Joe Moorhead may not return", and "Change is coming one way or another."

I mean what is there to discuss?? The guy is CLEARLY failing as a head coach and therefore needs to be removed of his duties immediately. It’s that simple.

I don’t think it’s been recognized just how close we were to 4 wins this year. UK could easily have knocked us off if they hadn’t tried to throw it over FORTY times. And we just got a lucky in the EB. Could easily have been a 4 win season.

I actually am making a joke because we all went down this path Turkey Day and looked like idiots when the cigar boys got their year long fap of a win over ol piss.

Our admin has made us and them look like idiots after the events at and before the Egg Bowl and the same for the bowl game. Why would I have any faith they are going to do something smart now?

Dumping Joe would make me start to believe we actually gauge our success on SOMETHING other than beating Ole Miss but I'm not holding my breath.

Well based on what I was reading posted by a lot of you the days before the EB, Napier has already signed the contract. I mean if we are already on the hook to pay them both next year, why not just let Billy go ahead and coach?

I’m pretty sure Feld has left our price range. He’s making about 400k total at Oregon Which is almost triple what we’re paying Bichey. And if Oregon wants to keep Feld if we do try to match 400k they can easily blow the roof off our max offer.

Not this **** again. Some of you just need to accept the fact the Joe Moorhead is going to coach here another season. And possibly 2 more seasons

I need to accept the fact I have a gambling problem or drink too much. I do not need to accept this.
