Yeah, right now he just seems to be doing "those things" right. Frost seemed to hate the media and dislike the love of the fans and I get that to a point but I think that the more you are out in public, the less the fans bother you because it is not a big deal. Don't forget, Bo was out in the public so much that fans did not even bother to take a picture of him getting physically thrown out of a middle school basketball game and physically escorted out of a middle school softball game...and starting a fight in a hotel basement.Embraced the state and city of Lincoln. The guy is visible and attends a lot of events. Not sure that translates well to wins and losses but tells me he wants to be here. This isn't just a stop along the career path.
Reaching out to schools in the state and being visible to them can only help us long term.
Love his approach to former players and getting them involved. Not so much what it was like but what was needed to reach that level of success.
Everything else is hard to read until game day.
He's everything I had wished Frost would be, but was not.1. recruiting energy
2. organizational skills
3. being decent to past players/coaches
I could expound on these but I think folks know what I mean..
so where do you think he has done well?
The number one thing is he's undefeated so far as the Husker head coach! Winking1. recruiting energy

Dad is that you? That was my dad's biggest gripe about Frost. Boomers. Gotta love em.Everything except the beard. He and Frosty both have trouble in this area.
if you can grow one, do so. If you can’t then shave.
Yeah if he wears that Monty Python **** this year, then he’s off my list.I don't like that he and his staff wear black fleeces. He should wear scarlet all the time. And if he comes out at Minnesota wearing one of those sleeveless smocks, I'll start a "Fire Rhule" site.![]()
Do not take this the wrong way because I am hopeful. Love the Huskers and Rhule seems to be doing the right things. My answer is still, "I don't know". I want to see him coach some games before I anoint him the next great thing.1. recruiting energy

Genuine is the first thing that popped in my head. You can only connect with people the way he does if you’re real. I think the family environment he’s building here will also get talent here. The smart kids that can tell the car salesman from who genuinely cares for them will come here. And the Mothers of those kids will be more than happy to let their kid come play for him.He seems genuine. Reminds me of Jerry Kill in that way. Shortage of real people out there these days.
there's 2 things I forgot to mention,I know Rhule hasn’t played a game, and ultimately, that is what he will be judged upon.
But since the question is what do you like this far, I like his attention to detail, his genuine nature, and his love of the state, fans and university.
If he is I hope he doesn't get into an altercation down the basement.does he stay at the cornhusker hotel?
Probably because in your assessment of Rhule you can’t help but take shots at posters who appreciate what they are seeing so far and calling them sheep for allowing themselves to be excited about what Rhule can potentially accomplish. Every post you make you are the enlightened one and the rest of us are a bunch of idiots. What was wrong with that take? Was there something factually incorrect? Is it a sin to take a wait and see approach before piling on? Apparently you think so.
I thought it was a fair assessment, but more and more this places feels like a cult. You can't actually discuss different points of view with anyone. You either get on board the official narrative or you get attacked.
