Last I had heard that after last season their projected started left for a school in Florida
Yes, he is at St. Thomas Aquinas. They have two QBs battling it out, a soph and a senior.
A lot of people are counting St Francis out this year
I have a feeling that they will surprise a lot of people

Franny may not be in the top 10 preseason polls, but I’d expect them to be in the top 10 at the end of the season as I believe they’ll win 5A.

there isn’t a bigger motivator than a low ranking for a really good team

SHS vs U High, per U High's athletic page, is August 22nd (7 pm at Memorial Stadium).
Southeast vs Litchfield is also August 22nd (7 pm at the renovated Spartan Field).

Took a second though. The Blue Devil football page just stated "Blue/White Scrimmage" but their 8to18 athletics site shows Lanphier on the 22nd. Maybe Coach Little just wanted to give his new QB a familiar face to scrimmage before their "daunting" week 1 game against Alton Doormat Senior.

I saw an IG post from Uplift that said it's being played on the Wilson Turf Field. So maybe even better
All.... 48 plays against the Blue Devils. If I recall correcty from last year's scrimmage rules work (might be wrong) 12-12-12-12. 24 on o and 24 on d. If your team scores quickly with minumun snaps on your first set of offensive plays 12 you repeat it again in that block . As an example team A scores on the second play. Ten plays are left and you start all over. Depending on how aggressive you want to be in a scrimmage game one could put up a lot of points if the schools are an obvious mismatch in talent.
