Yes, let's do an exhaustive search for a coach who had modest success until 3 yrs ago. I'm sure we will find one that will go to 2 title games in 3 yrs. Easy peasy.

Then maybe that is a sign that you shouldn't bet on them? What did I do this year.....I took my betting money and bought a new crew cab F-150 and a Tracker Pro175 bass boat..........IF you bet what you say you do you could make $3K from the interest on the money you bet, or more.

John Beilin is a very good coach that I think could dominate if he was at a school that could recruit better. His style of play is very fun and players would like to play it.

"Hall of Fame Recruiter, not coach." The people who voted Calipari into the Hall of Fame less than three years ago would say otherwise, but hey, what do they know compared to SacramentoKat, right?

I can understand people making the argument that he should have won another title or two, or that maybe it's time to rethink his "Players first" one and done philosophy, but to try and argue that a guy with a National Championship, numerous Final Fours, and who turned schools like UMass and Memphis into powerhouses while he was there doesn't have a HOF-Caliber resume is just asinine.

2008: National Championship runner-up, one 5-star player Derrick Rose
2009: Sweet 16, one 5-star player Tyreke Evans

He can obviously develop players better than Cal....aka Matthews. We think Cal is God because he sold the OAD at the right time. We’d be better off with a coach like Jay Wright or Beline with Kentucky’s facilities and fan base. We’d have players that play for the name on their chest and not a paycheck. I’d put my money on more final fours and maybe an occasional back to back. A back to back in Cal’s system is almost impossible.

You guys can hate on me (growing voice of pissed off UK fans), but Cal will feel the pressure next year after another mass exodus and recruiting misses.
