Want Baylor to win. But picked Gonzaga. I win my tournament group if Zags win. Future son in law wins if Baylor wins. Very important statement game for me.

Gotta root for Baylor, the Zags are already getting the recruits now and it will only continue to be better after another title game.
SEC isn’t exactly murderers row. They’ve taken care of business in the tournament. Give them credit.
They also scheduled Baylor it was canceled due to Covid. Rooting for Zags

We should know as well as anyone how ridiculously difficult it is to win six in a row during Tournament time.
Plus if was so easy to go undefeated in conferences like the WCC, why is it so rare for any team to enter the NCAAT undefeated? What is this, the fifth time in 45 years this has happened?
The zags are undefeated and in the NC game...they've earned where they are sitting.
Yes, I was thinking this also. I don't really hate the Zags and the undefeated angle doesn't really bother me. But, it's just natural for me to want to pull for the underdog in the title game (even if they're not a huge underdog). And when you add the recruiting angle on top, makes it easy for me to pull for Baylor.
That's the problem here...too many jealous of both teams instead of being upset why we're not there. Go Zags!.
What are we supposed to do? Continue bashing Cal and the team or maybe go downtown Lexington and burn a few couches. The season is over, It is time to move on and get ready for next year.

And I really don’t want to hear about the Zags undefeated season when their conference is a joke and a half.
Because we got screwed by Higgins in that Whisky game and we would’ve manhandled Duke that year. Plus Whisky choked that away and let Duke win.

They’re very good. Very deserving. A fun likable group with a class act coach. We’ve had so many guys the last few years who are the antithesis of this team. We’re never going undefeated so I’ll gladly root for a WCC team to be able to do it as it would be unbelievable.

Can't root for Baylor like I can't root for Penn State. They was willing to cover up criminal activity to win in sports and protect the brand.
Zags all the way. Why? Because they take good players, develop them, condition them, retain them, train them, game plan, and play great TEAM basketball.
Also, I harbor no a$$ ache over our inability to close the deal on 40-0 in 2015 and Gonzaga this year. It doesn't make us a winner in 2015 by us pulling for a mid-major to be a loser in 2021. Looks more like lingering sour grapes from a Blue Blood school, and we are above that IMO.
Finally, it would suit me fine to see Gonzaga win it all and take the last vestige of bragging rights away from IU.

Let’s all root for the school that had a sexual assault scandal and also tried to cover up a murder by a player and smear the victim so another team doesn’t get an undefeated season before we do (which will never happen again).
I know that’s not Drew’s issues or team but I’d love to see an undefeated season in basketball.
They weren’t losing any of those canceled games except maybe Baylor and we get to see that Monday night.
None of this is a reflection on Kentucky. College basketball is different every single year with an entirely new crop of players. I doubt this Gonzaga team goes undefeated against 2015 teams but we are in 2021 and for this year, they played a great OOC schedule and have proven themselves by getting to the finals.
Rooting for them to take it all the way.

I can’t believe anyone could make a statement like that.yeah i’m not understanding the relation. they’d be saying it’s the first undefeated team since 6 years ago. so what? it’s their season and if they do it they’d still be considered the last team to do it negating every other undefeated team for that honor anyway. their semifinal wasn’t anything like ours in terms of pressure. they can go undefeated and still won’t be considered the greatest team ever. we were going for that in ‘15.
We play in the SEC in basketball and just went 9-16 and we have fans trashing Gonzaga’s schedule despite them always playing a good OOC schedule.
I will pull for Gonzaga on Monday. Yeah, I can understand some of the dislike for Timme, but as a team, they're unselfish and play the game the right way. Not to say Baylor doesn't have those qualities. Regardless, this is the matchup everyone wanted to see in December when it got called off because of COVID. Now we have it on Monday, and hopefully it lives up to the hype and then some.
If we want to have *any* hope of hiring Drew in the future........we need to root for the Zags. Few’s a lifer there unfortunately.
They very well could if they play like they did tonight and the Zags have as much trouble on the defensive end of the floor as they did against UCLA.
