It makes me a little sick to my stomach every time I see Jacobsen defend the paint then rip down a rebound.

Bruce Weber always reminds me of Mr. Haney from Green Acres. I wonder if he sells farm implements in the offseason?

Jacobsen plays center for ISU. There had to be more to it than where he was playing. I'm not sure, but I have a suspician there were some issues with guys not getting along with each other.

More like 3 forward offense he doesn’t play post every time and they list him as a Forward..

Mind blown. I've been trying to figure a comparison for Weber every time I heard him talk for the last 15 years. Thank you kind sir.

He always guards the other teams center/biggest guy. THAT was what he didn't like about his role at NU supposedly. He is virtually always in the low post on offense or defense for ISU.

Of course he is 6-9 and one of their bigger players they don’t run the same offense obviously the way Nebraska does..

I know parents whose kids played with Jacobsen in HS and a former aau teammate of Jacobsen. None of them had many positive things to say about him. They said dad attended all practices and was on the HS coach all the time to let Jacobsen shoot more threes. Never new either the kid or his dad, but his grandfather was my neighbor for a time. What a Jacka$$!

They may call him a forward but he's always in the paint unless he pops out or sets a screen. Basically he has the same role he had at NU but he's made himself a better player IMO.

I wish we still had a jackass like Jacobsen on our team then. Good player and he works his *** off.

Maybe he realized the futility that is NU basketball and decided it was time to join a program that is competitive on a national scale. Could you really blame him?

Sounds more like it had to do with wanting to go back closer to home. He has said that it wasn't because of Miles but that he wasn't ready to discuss his reasons yet. I've heard that some of the guys on the team this year don't care for Palmer. I don't know if that is true or not but a personal conflict with other players would seem likely to me. Jacobsen had every right to do what he did. I'm not sure sitting out for a year to play the exact same role was a great idea but hey it's his life. We sure could have used him these past 2 seasons.
