It makes me a little sick to my stomach every time I see Jacobsen defend the paint then rip down a rebound.
Jacobsen plays center for ISU. There had to be more to it than where he was playing. I'm not sure, but I have a suspician there were some issues with guys not getting along with each other.Another reason why Miles needs to go is Making Jacobsen play Center because he couldn’t recruit one..![]()
Oh I don't disagree. I just think he looks like Mr. Haney.I wish Nebraska had the success that Bruce Weber has had.
Bruce Weber always reminds me of Mr. Haney from Green Acres. I wonder if he sells farm implements in the offseason?

He always guards the other teams center/biggest guy. THAT was what he didn't like about his role at NU supposedly. He is virtually always in the low post on offense or defense for ISU.More like 3 forward offense he doesn’t play post every time and they list him as a Forward..

I know parents whose kids played with Jacobsen in HS and a former aau teammate of Jacobsen. None of them had many positive things to say about him. They said dad attended all practices and was on the HS coach all the time to let Jacobsen shoot more threes. Never new either the kid or his dad, but his grandfather was my neighbor for a time. They may call him a forward but he's always in the paint unless he pops out or sets a screen. Basically he has the same role he had at NU but he's made himself a better player IMO.Of course he is 6-9 and one of their bigger players they don’t run the same offense obviously the way Nebraska does..
I wish we still had a jackass like Jacobsen on our team then. Good player and he works his *** off.I know parents whose kids played with Jacobsen in HS and a former aau teammate of Jacobsen. Sounds more like it had to do with wanting to go back closer to home. He has said that it wasn't because of Miles but that he wasn't ready to discuss his reasons yet. I've heard that some of the guys on the team this year don't care for Palmer. I don't know if that is true or not but a personal conflict with other players would seem likely to me. Jacobsen had every right to do what he did. I'm not sure sitting out for a year to play the exact same role was a great idea but hey it's his life. We sure could have used him these past 2 seasons.Maybe he realized the futility that is NU basketball and decided it was time to join a program that is competitive on a national scale. Could you really blame him?
There are normally three banty roosters officiating the game?Because he really is banty rooster and you are allowed one on the court
Referring to grandfather. Loved to throw golf clubs.I wish we still had a jackass like Jacobsen on our team then. Good player and he works his *** off.
Sounds like Grandpa was a competitor. As long as he didn't throw them at anybody, or the drink cart, I'm okay with that.Referring to grandfather. Loved to throw golf clubs.
He did hit another golfer. No competition in that.Sounds like Grandpa was a competitor. As long as he didn't throw them at anybody, or the drink cart, I'm okay with that.
