The ironic thing is that 90 percent of you ding dongs can’t listen to an ounce of criticism on this message board without breaking your neck trying to respond. But you expect ware to take all the **** he gets and just grin and bear it. Lol. Bunch of hypocrites. I can’t even imagine what his inbox looks like. The public stuff is probably bad enough.

I remember Mike Scott. He was on the Eddie Sutton teams. Played behind Rob Lock in 87-88 and then played several minutes per game in 88-89. He played on a good team and had some very good team mates during those years. Unfortunately for him, those years will be remembered more for the Emory envelope than anything else.

I think Ware is being honest about how he feels. And he's welcome to do that.
But we played some really bad basketball late against MSU. "The fans don't know anything" is silly, and a non-argument.
I've watched Kentucky basketball for probably 30 years now. I know good basketball when I see it. I didn't see in late in the 2nd half or either of the overtimes.
Lance is certainly welcome to imply that people criticizing the team, the coaching, etc don't know ball. He's welcome to say whatever he wants. That's the great thing about America. But he's incorrect.

I don't doubt that Lance knows some things that I don't. But to imply I don't understand basketball against Michigan State because I've never played that game--come the hell on.
We went to Indianapolis for the Champion's classic. My wife watches some games with me, but she's far from a hardcore/avid fan. She asked me last night why "UK got a penalty after Ware dunked."
Anyways--during the Duke/Kansas game, she said Kentucky needs to play more like these teams. They go to the basket and get layups and dunks. They get open 3 pointers. Kentucky just stands around the 3 point line and doesn't do anything. And she harped on how THOSE teams actually made free throws.
It's kind of horse **** to say the fans don't know ball.

But I have also officiated college basketball/HS for almost 20 years----She doesn't dissect the games like us dudes,but..........she knows enough, AND, she knows the rules. Its acutally pretty cool when your wife goes----"Thats an illegal screen----you have to give time and distance baby(talking to me)"----I just smile.
But back to the topic-----Yeah it gets my *** when people(Not just yacking at Ware) insinuate we know nothing, very little, etc......b/c we haven't played/coached, etc....I mean of course I don't know the game as well as Cal-----but doesn't mean I don't KNOW the game.

Our ability to "watch" the game and see how players perform is always wrong because we've never been in their shoes. Yeah, I have a hard time agreeing with him.
Im not arguing that you have to be a college athlete to know anything. There are NBA scouts who never suited up to play in college. Not saying I'm an NBA scout but I do know of one who is.

Well the post I quoted said that “Ware isn’t good enough to shoot back at people.” So wouldn’t that mean that those people need to be good enough to shoot at him in the first place?
