The only reason this series even went 6 is because Toronto didn't have their full complement of players until last night. Washington isn't close to contending - they are buried behind several other east teams for the foreseeable future.

I don’t care if he balled out. Did the Wiz win the series? What seed were they? Not to mention in the East. Wall is a terrific talent, but he’s been in DC for 8 years now and nothing has happened. And he’s got decent talent around him, and playing in the East.

He has average to below average talent around him outside of Beal (who might barely be a top 10 SG).

They were a game from the ECF last year with that terrible roster. That's about their ceiling until they make major changes. They should have pushed all in on bringing KD home to D.C. If they were serious about winning. Idc if you had to trade your entire roster outside of Wall and Beal.

Gortat runs his mouth way too much for a player of his mediocrity. Hopefully they dump Gortat and Morris and somebody else to find space for Boogie if the Pels decide to roll w what they have

Um no. I can name you 10 guys who are better distributors. Wall wasn't even in the top 10 in assist this year. But according to most on this thread, he isn't the problem. His sucky teammates and All-Star Beal are.

Damian Lillard and Spencer Dinwiddle were tied for 10th assist . Anyone really think they distribute better than Wall? Wall is easily top 3 in distributing the ball you could watch the playoffs and see that

For the season Wall averaged 9.6 assist a game which would have put him second behind Russell Westbrook.

For the playoffs Wall averaged 11.5 assist this year, 10.3 last year and 11.9 last year .

Please name me 10 guys that can distribute the ball better than John Wall. Good luck with that

Yeah, I saw an interview with Beal that was very complimentary of Wall when he was injured and the backup PG was doing very well for them. Not many guys can do what Wall can do in the open court but like many, I think he settles for too many 3's at times.

Wall has irving EVERYWHERE aside from shooting and KI isnt that much better. Wall plays better d by far and as pointed out is an elite passer, whether stats allow you to belive it or not.

He shot 37% from 3 this year. Westbrook is a bad outside shooter and Paul and Lillard arent know for their shooting either. Even Magic Johnson was a 30% career shooter from 3 and is considered by many to be the greatest pg ever.

Heard the same thanks about Rondo, wherever he went except in New Orleans. Wall has to find the right fit.
