I'm just not sure why the need to censure. It feels as if Joe is pandering to his caucus while playing the conservative side.

I also have no idea why elected officials have literally no standards as to competence for holding office.
Physicians have to pass medical boards, JD's have to pass the BAR, hell even dental assistants have to have licenses to practice yet politicians can be just that without even basic understanding of the constitution.
Therefore that leads to perversions of interpretation that is convenient to make ones point rather than intent of the document as founders desired.

The entire basis of this debacle should concern EVERY american.
Being accused of something by an anonymous person whom has no first hand knowledge of the events surrounding the accusation and is basing their accusation on hearsay is the exact kind of situation the founders were attempting to get away from "In Order to Form a More Perfect Union".

Largely corroborated is not completely corroborated. The other article is from Sept 2019 and does not deploy facts. Again, missing the point that unfounded accusations and hearsay should not be able to trigger such a tax payer funded event that will ultimately lead to nothing.

sondland's exact words were "he was presuming" that's what trump said. all of their testimony falls apart under questioning. sondland never testified that trump told him he wanted a quid pro quo.

Not going to retry the case with you. Any fair minded person can see what the POTUS was doing, it's not real complicated. The POTUS was right as it's all in the call transcript.
