Wait a minute, you're saying Ped St. and Michigan are good this year!?!?!?

I'm saying you don't know half of what you think you know. All you do is move the goal posts in a feeble attempt to continue trolling.

Art is so much better. This is a blessing in disguise. Art has the ability to lead us to big things in the future. He needs to start next week and we won’t look back.

Terrible arm, worse decision making.

Can't let him start next week.
Vedral is a really good player and not the problem. More important, Sitkowski is not the solution. Please no Sitkowski. I’m afraid Sitkowwki may be a schlemiel.

Maybe, but his decision making TODAY, was not good. And Art might not be the answer either, to me the jury still our on his decision making.

They lost a winnable game; still light years ahead of recent past.

Maybe our expectations have gotten ahead of where the team actually is. I always looked at this season as a rebuilding season. While it is never fun losing a game....especially when you are favored but things happen. We had too many turnovers that Illinois was able to capitalize upon. On a positive note those two goal line stands were excellent and we held them to field goals. On offense, vedral made some nice passes that went for long yardage.
what is there to say except they are making progress but there is still more work to be done. Not a great game but the team needs more confidence.

Really! We lost to a team that was 0-3, was swamped last week and started a freshman QB in his first game. Ypu, were are light years ahead.

It’s the call. The bet was bad! Poor judgment!
The bet was not bad. We needed at least 20 more yards for a reasonable shot at a winning FG. We weren’t running it to get there. Simple throw that any D1 QB should be able to make. Problem is we aren’t playing a D1 QB or at least a power 5 D1 QB. Just an awful awful throw. Beyond bad.

I think you are wrong about Vedral vs Sitkowski.. much more POTENTIAL upside with Sitkowski.

BUT.. that tip INT.. we don't really know who that is on.. Vedral or the WR.

Either Vedral severely threw late and behind him.. or Vedral threw late to where the WR was supposed to be when he read the defense.. that is.. does he buttonhook and stay put or does he curl in.. WR curled in.. ball went to where the buttonhook would have been.

Only Vedral, the WR and the coaches know the truth and they will verify it in game film and we will never know who was to blame.

But Sitkowski has the vastly superior arm.. routinely steps into throws in the face of a defender when he will get hit.. his flaws have been staring down single receivers.. never looking off coverage.. and some WTF throws into coverage.. which we have seen every QB do including Vedral.

I was intrigued last week with Sitkowski.. maybe the light bulb has come on. I suspect if it was a clear case of superior play Sitkowski would have been given the job... so I expect he has shown his bad tendencies to some degree in practice.

I do think it is time to give Sitkowski a start. It actually takes the pressure off Vedral... who could come in in relief if need be.

I agree but I don't think they will. It seems like Schiano and Gleeson are locked into Vedral.

Yesterday was not a good day for ScIls02. Indiana and vedral. When you make a prediction and are a little obnoxious about it you better be right . Look at me and the legandary “Ash will get us smashed thread “. I took my lumps but was proven right decisively . That’s why I have a lot of board cred . ScIls, you don’t .
You have been dismissed !

From NJ.com

One week after getting widely criticized by the Rutgers fanbase following his three-interception outing in a loss to Illinois, Vedral threw for 381 yards on 29-for-43 passing, with three touchdowns and an interception against Michigan.

Not only was it the third-most passing yards by a Rutgers quarterback in a Big Ten game, it ranked as the eighth-best single-game performance in program history. Only Mike Teel (447 yards, 2008), Scott Erney (436 yards, 1988), Gary Nova (404 yards, 2014; 397 yards, 2012), Chris Laviano (386 yards, 2015), Mike McMahon (386 yards, 1997) and Ryan Hart (384 yards, 2003) have thrown for more yards than Vedral did Saturday night in a game.

Vedral had a good game, and it was the right decision to keep him as the starter.

However, I still believe that Art would have won the game vs Illinois if he went into the game for the last drive. Once again, right or wrong, this is what I believe and that's what message boards are for.

Remember: they're not there to report the news, they're there to create a story and generate clicks.
Some things never change.
NJO.com will always find a way to make RU FB look bad.
As far as njo.com's sources, read the posts here complaining, even if only one it's enough for that yellow journalism outfit to claim the whole fan-base is complaining.
