OK? I hope someday Rutgers can get to just an ok #13 ranking. Apparently they've done something more than just OK for coaches and sportswriters across the country to vote them that high. But if you're OK with #13 in the country being just OK, then top #20-25 must really suck.
After two weeks vs. two teams that are a combined 1-3. Yay!

You are underestimating the talent on Indiana. They are the 2nd best team in the B1G East and will prove it today against Michigan. I give them the best chance to knock off OSU this year.
They are just another team in the Big Ten...

You have no idea what you're watching if you think Indiana is just OK. They were more than OK last year at 8-5 with two loses by less than 7pts.. This year returned 18 starters and are an upperclassmen laden team. They're a really good team not just OK, they're top 3 in the B1G East and possibly top 2(currently beating UM) in arguably the strongest division in college football. If you can't even recognize this, why should anyone take you or your QB revue serious?

For those silly posters still basking in the glory of a 16-point loss to an ok Indiana team, Vedral needs to show something today. Bottom line. Coaches and players know what that means and he simply hasn't shown it to date. Schiano didn't bring him to RU just to simply be a placeholder. Yes, we will likely lose by a decent margin, however, this isn't your typical good OSU defense. Vedral should be able to move the ball a bit and look somewhat competent in week three - especially as a veteran grad transfer QB. He isn't some deer-in-the-headlights freshman! Let's see what happens. I hope he does OK, but could we be watching....Vedral's Last Stand?
Mr Langdon, I really like your son as a football player and he will factor in a number of games as he has already.
no one use OSU as a game you make these decisions on.
IMO - we do not have a QB on this team that is ready right now to do much better.
what I do hope but hope we don’t see...if there becomes true garbage time- get some of the other guys in there and let’s see what they can do.
Otherwise- try cheering on our players

Just another team in the Big Ten. Those that know, know. After two wins against below average teams this guy is ready to call them very good. Additionally, they had a lousy loss last year in the bowl game vs. lowly Tennessee since you brought up last year.

They lost by a point trying to go for the win against an 8-5 Tennessee. Tom Allen is notorious for going for two and the win. What world do you live on?

Here's a hint: read about and watch more football, you might learn something.

Correct. Terrible loss after choking away a lead to a bad football team.

Dude at this point, just watch FS1 and how Indiana is systematically dismantling Michigan. Better yet, just go watch soccer maybe you'll understand that sport.
LOL! You mean the same Michigan team that was absolutely undressed last week in Ann Arbor vs. MSU!? Same MSU that is getting boatraced at Iowa today. Hahahahahaha. Indiana Just another team in the Big Ten. You must not know.

What? Johnny Unites wouldn’t show anything against the Buckeyes playing behind our line and throwing to our WRs.

Lol huh? I'm the most positive RU poster on here. I predicted our MSU win in a thread before that game (which you can read) and everyone said I was crazy because we aren't that good. Clown.
You know there is a problem when you start the name calling. If you go that route that’s your issue. Most times when someone starts this type of dialogue it lends credence that you don’t know squat about the QB position , players , staff and the program. It’s not worth further discussion regarding Noah Vedral.

Ok “ ace “ enlighten us to your expertise... not this guy Michael Whatever... you do realize there actually are some posters on the board who have played beyond pop Warner and high school. We just don’t after 2 games become so negative about a player ... it ‘s a new program, new staff , close to 40 new players, with little real practice time during spring/ summer.

You had nothing to whine about with a win though it would not have surprised me if you did. How long have you followed Rutgers ?

Only in your world does transitive property work in football. Human beings have the capability not to be this obtuse, I suggest you join our race.

Haha exactly which was basically used in the post I was replying to. So what's your basis for thinking Michigan is good this year? And I got news for you. CFB playoff committee actually uses it to help determine rankings. So funny. Carry on...

You're either drunk or don't know what transitive property means? The post you replied to the two teams are playing each other today. You have some weird logic in your responses, I suggest you give it some thought(if you're capable) before you post.

Know darn well what it is - so what's your basis of saying Indiana or Michigan are any good this year if you don't want to use it? I'm just flipping logic right back at you.

And love how you didn't address why the CFB committee uses it if it's irrelevant? Argue with them.

Indiana
- by basis of their season last year going 8-5, 4 loses to top 25 opponents
-returning 18 starters
-upperclassmen laden squad/ starters 7 seniors, 10 juniors
-Their play thus far this season 2-0 and it's now 31-14 vs. Mich. 3rd qtr.

No where in there is transitive property being used.

So you're basing what they did last year (each year is different in sports) + beating a bad Michigan team as two of your major points? Haha.

I've said Indiana is OK, decent, but they are just like a handful of other team in the Big Ten not named Ohio St. Just another team.

I’m still waiting for your qualifications . You have been posting on here since 2012 if correct. Probably mid to late 20’s. So you do see Rutger’s QB situation and season differently. You want instant gratification which does not surprise me. Enjoy the season and the expected highs and lows.

It's basically the same team and coaching staff coming back from last year. 18 starters want to count special teamers 22 starters returning. They lost their OC(Fresno St. head coach) but the new one looks to be even better. Seems your only argument is every time they beat someone they must have sucked. That's not really sound logic.

Purdue and Northwestern are undefeated this year so far. Are they great teams?

Let me make this perfectly clear. I am not bashing Hayden Rettig, the person nor the football player. It's just like when a coach says a kid is "in the mix" I'll always bring up Rocket Williams.
Lighten up.

I will not lighten up when it comes to defending players that played for this school. I will make this perfectly clear as well. If you say"#freeRettig" comment in the context of a QB controversy debate and he is around, he will not appreciate this. If this hashtag continues to appear again and again on this board after the kid graduates and is now a Rutgers alumni, it does not reflect well on this fanbase.

Now don't put words in my mouth, never said "great" I reserve that for Alabama's, Clemson's and Ohio St's of the world. Never compared them to that. What I did say was really good.(you can look back for yourself).

Are PU and Northwestern really good, no idea haven't done any research on them or watched them play much. I clearly laid out why I believe Indiana is really good and it was more than just a 2-0 record.
