I can't believe UT dropped that game at home tonight. They were playing for their NCAAT loves and Vandy is supposed to be their hated rival. They got thumped actually. Good win for Vandy.
Ain't scaring anyone here though. We are playing poorly, but not THAT poorly.

You are still not dancing.
And don't get delusional and think you can win in Rupp.
You shot your wad tonight Clark.
You end your miserable regular season v UK and UF.

Ouch...

Normally I'd say there's no chance Vandy comes into Rupp and wins but with this team that's just not true.

Now I still wouldn't give them a great chance. Especially on a senior night when we actually have seniors that play for a change, but that's also sandwiched between what is now the biggest game of the season and the regular season finale so it's a bit of a trap game for us as well. And of course Vandy will be motivated.

UK will beat Vandy like a rented mule.

The SEC or Big 12 is the best league this season, wins are hard to come by. I mean Ole Miss/Ark/Tenn/South Car all can beat other teams in Pac 10 ACC Big 10. Throw UK and UF who both can make FF runs and you got a top 2 conf.

you have said they were going to beat teams down quite a few teams iv'e seen on here, didn't you say they were doing to do it to UGA as well because it was a semi revenge game because of it being close and OT at rupp?

you've said numerous times they are going to flat wipe the Gators out on Saturday as if they are scrubs when they haven't been blown out a single time yet this season.

The conference is going to be pretty damn good next year. Better be ready, especially on the road.

I agree. Coaching upgrades and some young talent.

I'm excited about Coach Drew.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but at the moment, we are on the bubble (wrong side for now). Even an NIT bid would be a job well done for Drew imo.

Dores ended UT,s Sugar Bowl and tonight they burst their bubble

Yep, not gonna lie, feelsgoodman.

Having to live with UTjr fans, play golf with them, drink with them, work with them, etc, beating them 3 of the last 5 years in football is killing them!!

Also happy to stick a needle in their bubble.

I'm not sure how good of a chance we have of making the NCAA tourney, but there aren't many bubble teams that have as many good wins as we do:

At Florida
At Arkansas
Iowa St
South Carolina
At UTjr
At aTm (to a lessor degree)

We need to go 2-1 down the stretch and probably make Saturday in the sec tourney to have a chance, but it would be a sweat at that's point for sure.

Put your 4 best against mine in conf

UK
UF
USC
ARK

UK-Louisville
UF-Duke
USC-UNC
ARK-FSU

Who you got?

Or

UK-KU
UF-Baylor
USC-WVU
Ark-OK State

Note, I skipped Iowa State to help the bigxii.
I'm also not sure USC belongs in the top 4 of the SEC. They might be our 5 seed after tonight.

If Texas A&M is a good win then so is just about every power 6 conference win. Base case scenario, they go 2-1 to finish, and win twice in the SEC Tournament, finishing at 19-15. That might give Vandy a long shot prayer at an at-large bid, but unlikely.

Vandy has lost 5 home games this year include to Ole Miss and Bucknell. Take care of those 2 wins, and we're having a different conversation at 17-11.

You're doing what the typical uninformed fan does. I agree, if all you are saying is that it's not an impressive resume, but that's not we're discussing. We are discussing Vandy being on the bubble, where EVERYBODY has a non impressive resume.

The real question then becomes; How does Vandy's resume stack up against other bubble teams?

As for winning at aTm, it's not a great win, but winning on the road against a top 100 team is a good win, not a great win. Winning at Florida (a UK fan should know how good of a win that is) and at Arkansas are very good wins, as are beating USCjr and Iowa State.

That's great.

...and a 15-loss team has never made the NCAA Tournament as an at-large, so it's hard to even say they are on the bubble.

For instance, does Vandy have a better resume than 15-13 Pittsburgh? A team nobody is considering on the bubble?

Pittsburgh has wins over Marquette, Maryland, Virginia, Syracuse and Florida State.

Thoughts?

I have said this before, Vandy just doesn't get the job done at Rupp historically, even when they have great teams. But no matter what UK struggles down there. It is odd. Unlike a Florida who can give us a good game at rupp as well as down there. UT is similar to Vandy, we struggle down there no matter what but usually take care of business at Rupp.
