Apparently SC already didDiego Pavia was in school for seven years. Let’s stop pretending that this is about education. Like Demarcus Cousins said, “this ain’t no spelling bee.”
That is not right, he should have to take at least the minimum of 12 hours, which I think used to be considered full time. I don't care if it is basket weaving![]()

Guarantee he never sets foot on that golf course he has an internship with

Are you serious? Most seniors who are decently smart don’t need anything by senior year. Athletes take summer classes to get ahead every year as well. Some graduate in 3 years.
Sellers, a senior sport and entertainment major at South Carolina, is set to graduate in December. Although he's eyeing a successful NFL career, he said he has his sights set on what he could do if professional football doesn't pan out.
"If I don't end up doing engineering - I've always wanted to do engineering (or architecture) - if I don't do that, then something around stadiums, laying out blueprints, drawing up blueprints, and stuff like that. Or facility management," Sellers said.
This is a Rhodes Scholar candidate here, folks
Yea why punish a kid for having all his credits? HS kids do the same now.Are you serious?
Hell, he might as well want to be an astronaut.I cracked up when I read that. Pretty sure you have to have an engineering degree to be an engineer![]()
Honestly, baller move if he does.I just picture him showing up once a month or so and driving a golf cart drinking a beer.

Nfl players don’t need a masters lolSmart kids work on a 2nd degree or a Masters degree. This kid will be mowing grass. Maybe he should start working on that engineering degree...![]()
This is like incredibly rude and offensive. Why would a very successful person and quarterback be forced to cut grass for a living and not work in a football related field? He’s also got enough money to invest very well.Smart kids work on a 2nd degree or a Masters degree. This kid will be mowing grass. Maybe he should start working on that engineering degree...![]()
Some people are just dumb and jealous. The kid has made millions and will make more in nfl. Also comes from a good family. Let him enjoy an easy year since he did the work to make it easyThis is like incredibly rude and offensive. He’s literally got a bachelors but youd rather him spend all of his time trying to get a 2nd useless degree and not on football (which is his job), seems like you just don’t like Lanorris and keep trying to move a goalpost
seems like your jealous, projecting, or just hate people like lanorris
No, they don't.Smart kids work on a 2nd degree or a Masters degree. This kid will be mowing grass. Maybe he should start working on that engineering degree...![]()
No, they don't.
Seems like this kid is smart for wrapping up his credits and taking it easy. He is making a living from the sport he is playing.

I'm not jealous nor do I hate the guy.![]()
The NFL is not a guarantee.
He stated he wanted to be an engineer if the NFL doesn't work out but that's not what his degree is in. Maybe he doesn't understand that.
the NCAA offers an exception for a student in their last semester prior to graduation who is registered for all the credits needed to graduateI think the NCAA rule is he has to be enrolled in 12 hours. I guess he could be majoring and turf management and enrolled in a 12 hour course that is on the golf course, but there has to be some kind of instruction and feedback to him.
Nothing n life is guaranteed. U do seem awfully worried about this random players life.
I know pretending that these are Collegiate athletes at this time is ridiculous, but doesn't the ncaa require you to take some classes to compete? Graduate degree classes? So punish him for finishing his degree early basicallt

It’s just common sense.Looks like we found the poster with a B.A., am I right folks?!
You can’t even reason with these people because they all went to school 50+ years ago. They don’t know anything about the current state. Why does anyone care anyway? Do yall think most these kids actually do real school? I know normal students who do all online stuff and rarely go to campus. It’s 2026 fellas.
Yeah, most applied and natural science B.S. degrees can take over 5 years full-time. And if the student has to work their way through ..much longer. I'm sure there are some Sheldon Cooper freaks of nature that can do it in 3 years.Looks like we found the poster with a B.A., am I right folks?!
We are replying to the thread topic. Good grief.Nothing n life is guaranteed. U do seem awfully worried about this random players life.
It is college, I know college is looking more and more like a pro sport, but he can work on a masters, this is college. So punish him for finishing his degree early basicallt
