He's probably going back to fox to do college football. I thought he did a good job in his segments. Probably take a year doing that and seeing what gigs are open next year.

I'm surprised at how bad and how fast it went for Urban. Some of the stories out there literally shock me. How out of touch with reality do you have to he to think you can engage in the behavior he did in Jax and think you're going to be successful? What a dork.

Urban's time in coaching needs to come to an end. Obviously has some health issues along with stuff off and on the field. Has plenty of money so go home and play golf and forget about football. Time to move on.

texas is really the only school big enough for urban with low enough ethics.
I suppose they can have the dc chew them out on the bus and urban can kick them..
they will run tark off by the end of next year.

My theory is he realized really quickly at mini-camp how bad his roster actually was and had been trying to get fired ever since then.

Urban is a scumbag. He would still be a great college coach if anyone wants to take a chance on him. It’s amazing people haven’t figured out that NFL and college football require completely different coaching styles and there’s very few people that could be successful at both. They’re not the same thing, despite being the same sport. College kids need discipline and dictators…a la Saban and Meyer. NFL players will tell those guys to go F themselves. NFL players hold more power than most nfl coaches. Bellichek is the exception and he’s careful about who he brings in for a reason.

Dough Marrone had some really bad seasons and he was retained for some time. So it really wasn’t just the losing.

Also Urban made the mistake of hiring Brian Schottenheimer. Feel like that guys a guarantee your team will suck. He’s the poster child of nepotism in the NFL.
