Not a great start that a 2x AA can't bonus on a guy with a losing record.

He just weighed in and gassed. He should be better with recovery time. Marinelli will be tough regardless of how much time he has to recover.

Getting mat #s from the OSU Wrestling Twitter feed. Haven't had any issues with ESPN so far. Fingers crossed.

For what it is worth, I thought Joe wrestled a smart match. Took control and then saved energy for the next match.

If you think you have a team shot, you don't wrestle "smart," you get bonus. He will feel like an *** and so will his dad if we lose a team title by 1 point.

Fix goes 4 NF with a cradle to 4 NF with an assassin in the 3rd.

I think he gets the Tech with riding time....not sure, everyone is confused on the score.

Or go get the fall in the first period like Picc. If we lose the team title by 1 point, I'm guessing there are going to plenty of other matches to 2nd guess.

That will come up first...the guy had a losing record and a 2xx AA is in a pigtail.

a) still no where near 100%
b) tighten up since it's his 1st NCAA's

Marinelli wore Joe down late 2nd and in the 3rd. Couldn't get out from bottom. 6-4.

Why would Smith choose down against Hughes? Especially up 4-1. Our decisions this am have been suspect at best imo.

Gfeller needs to dump the too cool for school attitude, get in a real stance where he’s not standing straight up giving a leg, and get after it. That may have been ok in high school but not here. He has some real talent if he will get serious.
