No they will all say "I'm fine with it I trust Cal GBB!!!!" while the program circles the drain.
It's funny that the program would be circling the drain when in 2019 we finished in the top 10 of both polls, and then did the same thing in 2020. In fact, in 2019 we finished top 5 of the AP poll. If by circling the drain we mean last year was terrible, then I agree. But if we finish in the top 10 this year, that would be 3 out of 4 years finishing in the top 10, which would be odd for a program that is supposedly circling the drain.

I should probably clarify what I said. I should have said deleting all the content from his account. I didn't mean to imply he deleted the entire account. Either way, that strikes me as very odd although someone said LeQueen and I suppose other players do this heading into playoffs. Maybe it's a thing?
I understood that, but I've seen others have their instagram accounts hacked and all the existing posts deleted. Happened to Joe Wieskamp over the summer.

I keep seeing posts like this, but are all the "hE sAiD hE wAs PLaYiNG" people going to admit they were wrong?
Based on the whining of you one trick ponies? Based on the predictions of the Profits of Dumb? Nope.
I don't know if he'll play here or not, I hope he does, but if he doesn't I'll still believe it was a gamble worth taking and move on. All the while, you'll be yelling "he'd better!" at Cal and holding your breath, and the only result will be you passing out, like all the other spoiled blowhards. Because like them, your crying means nothing. You are a tiny minority, completely powerless. You might as well go away until Cal decides to leave, because you have ZERO effect on his job security.

No, I mean circling the drain as in Cal is now counting top level recruits who come here and don't play. UK is about to become a revolving door for itinerant G-leaguers who ride the pine and get a big hug from Cal on draft night, while Cal pads his resume with yet another top lottery pick. Meanwhile, UK will continue to get 3-5 seeds and flame out in the tournament. And Casual Fans will be okay with it because they have no interest in UK's future or integrity.

Yeah, you're a casual fan, I get it.

It blows my mind that so many on this board tell people they aren't fans because they do not support Calipari.
He called me a "casual fan" , I said he wasn't much of a fan. But sure, interpret it how you want.

Yeah, referring to Sharpe as a g-leaguer is just dumb...as I assume he is referencing Sharpe with coming and not playing. Sharpe is going to be a stud in the NBA most likely and we are all going to hate him for it because he didn't play here...and that is 100% ok. He used UK and I am not happy about it. I do not see this becoming a trend though as the other poster suggested.

Plus, as I always like to point out, UK has been flaming out of the NCAA Tournament at a much worse rate than Cal has at UK in his tenure. Just a title ever 17 years and a Final Four every 6.25 years in the 50 years pre-Cal. He is above both of those trends with ease, but people on here are not intelligent and cannot do math. That said, he needs to get back to a Final Four this year or next as it has been 7 years so he has fallen below that 6.25 average the 2nd half of his tenure but overall, it is 1 about every 3 years, which destroys that average. I have said if Cal had beat Auburn in 2019, but lost to Michigan in 2014, his tenure would be looked at differently by some despite the number of Final Fours remaining at 4.

Oh, so what you mean by circling the drain is that Sharpe might not play at UK. If, and I stress if, that happens, it will be the 1 and only time in Cal's tenure at UK that will have happened. I stressed if, because while you have made your mind up that he isn't playing, that hasn't exactly happened yet.

Also of note, 3 of the last 5 teams were/would have been higher than a 3 seed, and that doesn't include the current team who is on pace to also be higher than that. But I guess you need something to complain about.

Can't there be fans that like Calipari and fans that do not like Calipari? No?
I said he hates Cal more than he loves the program. Make of that what you will. Hanging around here, constantly bashing hardly makes him a super fan, especially when most of his bashing is based on pure speculation.
What are you, his publicist?

Cal's running joke, and standard answer... he says it everytime, even at pressers... he will say "before you ask, I haven't seen him"...
It is kinda funny. Makes the haters hoping mad and they can’t do crap about it.

We won't see Ty Ty again until the SEC Tournament.

Wheeler being out with Ty Ty will make it tough to get any offense going.

Don't know why Toppin was thrown in with the other 2?

We will be looking at a PJ Washington scenario again but 3 weeks earlier. Constant uncertainty about the availability of a player everyone knows the Cats must have to compete for a title. Gonna be a LONG and annoying few weeks. Especially if the Cats start dropping more games

TY will be the only one out, I’m guessing. And the TY watch, speculation, conspiracy, hand-wringing will commence until he returns. I’m exhausted already.

And Im not sure why it would be a bad idea, if true, to just say “TYs injury isn’t season ending or serious but he needs a week or two of rest to be at 100 percent.”

Easy peasy. Makes sense. Let’s go play a few games or whatever without him. Not sure what about that puts the Cats at a competitive disadvantage or violates any player health confidentiality.,
